My experience in proactively ASKING successful clean-cut, men is 80% prefer top-of-shoulder length or shorter (and I've asked them when my hair was past my butt and when it was over my ears). If you are going by which men have the strongest, loudest, most belligerent way of making sure everyone is aware of their opinion, than I would say yes 75% of those (typically wife-beater types) shout it from rooftops and blogs.
