How To Make An Inspired Bob Marley Layered Cocktail
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 23 ส.ค. 2022
- Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make the Bob Marley layered cocktail. Bob Marley was huge in the Reggae music scene and supported the Rastafarian movement. This layered cocktail has the same colours as the Rastafarian flag. It contains rum infused with pineapple and coconut flavours and served with crushed ice, which helps the layers to hold. Each layer has its unique taste but, when mixed, gives you a great drink that is perfect for the hot weather. Try it out, and let me know what you think.

That is a great song.
Oh no. I have to buy more rum to infuse with pineapple. No please don't make me. 🤣🤣🤣 Great video as always! Thanks David!
Sean, what rum are you going to buy?
@@boozeontherocks I was debating the cheapest one I could find figuring the pineapple would just overtake it completely but I'm now leaning more towards my workhorse white rum,, Don Q Cristal. Love that stuff and it's still inexpensive.
Don’t worry be happy
Awesome!!
Buffalo solider♥💛💚beautiful cocktail, might use something other than the pineapple frawns to garnish tho🙃
Buffalo Soldier is fantastic. Let me know what you use to garnish it :)
@@boozeontherocks well lets just say in keeping with the theme...mary jane deserves the spot 🙃
No Woman No Cry
I love that song
Pimpers Paradise
Good song.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly? 😎 Cheers for the cocktail! Would replacing the top layer with Midori work?
You can but the flavours will work out differently and the ABV will be lower.
Zimbabwe
That is a good one!!!
Three little birdies
That is a great song.
The Malibu Coconut Rum that I get in Guatemala is made in Canada.
Jhoel, That is interesting. I will have to look that up. Thanks for the info.
I shot the sheriff but I didn't shoot the deputy. That looks like it just might be pretty sweet. Very pretty cocktail. Cheers
I love that song. It is a sweet drink, but its really good.
I cant get pinneapple rum..any subsitute?
Thanks
You can use a rum that you like, add some pineapple juice to it.
Where is the link to your mixing glass? I can't find it in the description? 😕
Hi Al, I have just updated my description. But here is the link for you. amzn.to/3dKwGes

red, red wine (the UB40 one) and get up, stand up
Those are great songs.
Mine would be could you be loved ❤💛💚
That is an excellent song.
I'm gonna try this tonight, but I'm not that into pineapple, so I'm afraid i have to "swede" it a bit, I'll switch the green layer to a mix of straight rum and Green Curacao.
That does sound interesting. I need some more knowledge on this sweet it up. :)
@Booze On The Rocks the green curacao I used was the Swedish version. It has a citrus taste. We really enjoyed it

Is it 4.20 yet?
Its 4:20 some where :)
@@boozeontherocks Cool lets light up then😃
This should be garnished with some cannabis leaves! 😂
Michael that would have been a great idea.
About the only cocktails you make are layered cocktails. Nice to look at, but still have to be stirred to enjoy.
I will be bringing out a bunch of non layered cocktails. is there anything you you would like to see.
@@boozeontherocks Steve I love your channel. It is educational, informative, and funny. I changed your Tennessee Bee into the Kentucky Bee with use of Jim Beam Kentucky Bourbon, as it is what I had on hand. I also used Blackberry Brandy. That is my favorite cocktail now. I would never had tried anything like that without your encouragement. Thanks and keep up the great channel
@@jamesmoore2945 Thank you very much James.
You forgot to throw a gram of decarbed lambs bread rosin in the mix
I did not happen to have any on hand.
Three birds
Great song!
Bad mind
That takes me back for sure.

That is a great one Joel.
Was Good Instructions! But Was To Long !!!
Thank you for your feed back.
It's pretty and I like your vids but you made this drink more complicated than what it is...too many unnecessary steps...the key 🗝️ is just layering. It's a build.
Thank you for your feed back. I will work on it.
Unfortunately none of the ingredients come from Jamaica where Bob Marley is from
Hi Roxanne. You do have a point there.
@@boozeontherocksyou could infuse some Wray & Nephew rum with pineapple. There's your Jamaican liquor right there.
