@@NWCountryGirl17 Love it! we could work on a whole action packed Outlander Comic Strip . Now that would be fun! Claire: (as she is running out of the fort) ...and btw I may be your step mom one day William: I'm not sure I understand.
LOL William was really revealing his naivete here. Ian's not English, and even if they consider Scotland and America to be under the English crown, they don't consider those people to be their fellow countryman. So how can they consider it treason that these foreigners don't bow to their king? William obviously hasn't tried looking at the world from a different point of view before. Plus I LOVE the actor's delivery of the line, "I ken very well what your ARMY is capable of." Remember Ian was born and raised in the very lean years of post-Culloden Scotland. William was born and raised in the lap of luxury. He has absolutely no idea what his army is capable of.
A lot of book readers don't care much for William but he's exactly the person he should be based on his parents being who they are/were and who raised him. He grows so much and becomes a character with so much heart. I'm enjoying seeing this actor doing such an amazing job.
@@heidimelendez5623 he was having an existential crisis. he is not really the son of the earl. he is the son of a stable boy, a bastard since his parents werent married, his father also happens to be a jacobite, traitor to the crown...and his papa lied to him his whole life. Him mama too. like...that isnt easy to accept.
Bae Grey, Jr. 😍 He is definitely the son of John Grey and James Fraser. Charles Vandervaart does an AMAZING job capturing both Jamie's expressions and John's dignity and nobility.
I love how indignant William is calling Ian a liar like sir you spent all last episode straight up lying out of your ass. Plus don't act like you wouldn't do the exact same thing in his position. Still love him tho he's such a great character 🥰
I love this ...this is the moment I would think if I were Ian I would have had enough and said Liar???Oh hon ..YOUR Whole life is a lie ..."let's chat shall we ?" He could also say (spoiler: I don't know how to block out but you probably know this already) ..and this is your future step mama Claire for a bit ! Oh they have sooooooo much on the poor guy .
William is my favorite part the season so far. He starts off raring to engage the rebels, yet each episode reveals that the conflict is not nearly as black-and-white as he assumes. It's highly visible character development without being too on-the-nose. Brilliant.
William: “Hardly the question of her life. Surely you don’t suppose we kill woman?” Me: “Says the man that witnessed a fellow soldier set a woman on fire while everyone else other than yourself stood by and watched.” And she was just a citizen I don’t even want to know what some would do to a woman charged with treason.
1)Claire is kidnapped. Already seen. I can see it again and again but I want to feel like in the tower when Jamie at the window said, "Hands off my wife." 2) Sam archer. Hit twice the same spot of the wagon. Have they made copy and paste? 3) Finally I liked Roger. He has more chemistry with Bree’s work colleague than with his wife but...ok. 4) I miss the smile of the child who played Jemmy. They were twins who brought sweetness to Roger’s family. The new child actor, does not have the sweetness, sympathy of Matthew and Andrew.
I've seen the gradual decline of the quality of this show's plotlines for years now. I'm glad others are beginning to voice their frustration too. Just how many times can Claire get kidnapped and rescued before it gets boring really? 🙄 Surely there are other ways to create suspense and a sense of adventure.
Just so happens they all land in a wagon. Oh and lets not sneak away/escape. Lets catch everyones attention by racing away. Well at least no one has be raped this year. Everyone during that time period would lead a boring farm life. Sorry I know everyone is going to send me nasty messages dont bother.
I'm a fan but observe this series is a bit slow and more melodramatic than usual. Claire needs to drop that pompous middle aged phoney voice she's using. Heughan and Bell and Vader...carry the show at the moment.
The amount of times Claire has been taken a prisoner
Omy Yeeees🤯
Sometimes more than once an episode
Omg yes! *Things start going poorly* Claire - "Looks like its time for me get kidnapped again" 😂😂
she rivals Kim Bauer for most kidnapped female ever
I literally said "not again! She is always getting herself in trouble and Jamie had to go rescue her!@
I love that this whole plot line can be summed up with
Claire getting kidnapped and doing claire things
Jamie getting her back doing Jamie things
Ian trying to help doing Ian things

lol perfectly succinct
Pretty much
yup
William: Stop You're committing Treason
Ian: I'm a Highlander and a Mohawk do you REALLY Think I Care About Treason???
hahahha! Ian: You Ken nothing ! boy do you Ken nothing.....and your dad's the one shooting fire arrows into camp! so there !
@thekrayonkidsbookadventures
William: What? Impossible
Ian: No time to explain now I will deal with you later, COUSIN. Auntie Claire Run!!

I do really like him especially in the newly released parts of book 10 she was reading about him .
William was fine until he realized Jamie was his father. After that, he was not likable for a long while.

Hard to believe that that small ragamuffin became an amazing young man
Three fantastic actors 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Outlander is so additive, I absolutely love it! All the actors are superb!!
If only William knew what this family means to his foster father, Lord John Grey!!
they are family to Lord John Grey, and he is clueless
I love Ian with all my heart ❤️
Claire always gets in trouble and she always demands things as a prisoner. Like in reality they would have killed her already
Claire hanged was actually a Nightmare of Jamie that was wrote in the 7th book
The Fact that Jamie was using an English Longbow is kind of Ironic
Lol I love Ian !! 🪶
It was a great episode!! Thank you Starz!!
Always excellent 🎉🎉🎉. Have watched season 1-7 present 3 times. Enjoy your show.
Jamie to the rescue!❤
Family! 🤔You can’t live with them, and you can’t kill them!😂
I can't believe he doesn't know he's talking to his cousin and step mother.

Charles is almost exactly what I imagined when I read the books. The casting for this show never fails.
The series is as good as it can be but OMG Diana Gabadon's books are soooo much better.
thanks❤ i love outlander 🥰❤️❤️💞

Claire Beauchamp Fraser knows William Ransom better his friends, thanks to the face and personality of his half-sister, Brianna Fraser Mackenzie.
I love the Outlander series, but the entire season is just claire getting kidnapped and rescued over and over.
Loooove it. 🏹🔥
Agreed but it is so constantly pushed I get tired of it.
I wonder if Ian will ever find out thats his cousin
Ian already knows. It’s only William who doesn’t
William 🤍
Dinna fash... everything has already been described in the books. Everyone will live happily ever after. If they're not fashing, we shouldn't.
Who writes the comments?!
Fans ,with a little comic relief ..May not be for everyone . Remember writers are on strike ...we are all you have ...:) xo

Honestly I feel like the whole William storyline was completely unnecessary
