    Damn man, you are the king when it comes to beating these old school lightgun games! This game’s final boss is notoriously difficult. In literally every 1cc I’ve watched for this game the person playing always seems to survive by the skin of their teeth 😂 I’m convinced it’s impossible to beat him without taking a hit. Regardless I still love this game and the arcade cabinet’s design is sooo cool

      Many thanks! It's a really cool game and it's a shame the arcade version has gotten rarer, but at least it was ported. And yeah, that final boss is a nightmare! I don't believe I've ever seen a no-damage clear of him.

    Congrats, this game is so hard. Some boss attacks at high rank seem downright unfair, but at least it comes with some of the best ever voice acting...

    One of the greats for sure. The only element of the game that sucks (haha) is the hostage system. It heavily encourages you to cheat by having them move extremely slowly so you'd just hold the gun right up to the screen. Even then, sometimes you just miss due to questionable hitboxes on the parasites. You were robbed on that old lady in Chapter 4 btw.
    Also I have no evidence to support this, but I'm certain that staircase before the final boss was meant to be a full stage that they cut for time (the game is already long enough as it is).

      The hostage system could've been a lot worse since apparently life penalties for shooting hostages were originally planned. Glad they scrapped the idea--would've been too punishing.
      Also I totally believe I missed that hostage by my own accord. But a 1CC's a 1CC, scoring over 90K is a solid personal best for now, and as I've mentioned I'd like to revisit this game the future and score over 100K with all villagers saved.
