It's Jess here and welcome or welcome back to my channel. In today's video, we're going to make the fitted midi skirt with leg slit.
To make this DIY, please check out my basic information below:
- Sewing machine: Merrit Joyful Sewing
- Material: 2m of thick chiffon fabric or soft cotton fabric
- My body measurements: 82-64-92. I'm 165cm tall and usually wear Small size
I learn sewing by myself. So some of my techniques might be not correct or in a professional way. But I tried and they worked for me. So I want to share with you the way I made them.

These are wonderful videos! I sewed the skirt from your previous video and it turned out great. I do have a question though. Do you use a 5/8 inch seam allowance? or something else. thank you :)
I usually add 1cm for seam allowance

Thanks for the video! 🤩 Did you use a serger to make overlock stitches? Or is it possible without it?
No, I didn't use a serger to overlock the fabric. I used the zigzag stitching with overlock presser foot in my sewing machine
