I actually was going to find a way to build Techno for a upcoming campaign I am DMing, have him be a old retired farmer, ex-adventuer, the party can have help them. Than campaign put on hold, ideas changed, never made him, till...I find out he died. And now I...sit here mourning the loss of someone I only knew online, and barely at all. But I feel comforting to know other mourn, but happy now that, I can honor him and sort of, Memorialize him as the Fallen Champion of the Blood God, and may even use this build you have for such character, incase one of the players decides to do a whole..like spirit fight with him. Anyways, thank you EMB, and know I only found you from this video, but your other videos look amazing, so when you can, keep it up man.
I've done something similar and designed a permanent npc that will be going in my world's book in honor of him. He inspired so many, and I'm glad I can give others even a fragment of that inspiration he constantly gave me. Thank you for your words, I hope you stick around. We all will miss him.

Hey there. Just giving out my opinion. I don't think it's okay to downplay your sickness, whatever it may be. Sure, Techno's a hell of a content creator for being able to upload even with his condition, but it's important to remember to take care of your own health. It might not have been as bad as Techno's cancer, but sickness is sickness regardless, and shouldn't be ignored no matter how insignificant it may seem in comparison. Hope you get better soon. (I haven't finished your video nor have I followed up from past videos, so idk if you've told what kind of sickness you have or had. Will continue watching, tho)
I appreciate that, thank you. I'm not great at allowing myself to have respite in general, unfortunately. I don't bring up much of my personal life in my videos usually, complaining about my disabilities and health feel like something I shouldn't put into them generally. @@HeartLockHex actually, looking at it, just conquest paladin 20 with decent stat spread and using current UA for free tough feat is perfect for techno. Use martial adept if you want some maneuvers, but the level 20 conquest feature is just blood god mode.
@@TheWackyWorkbench Its range is a bit limited for most games I've been in, and assumes the DM will give them to you. Which isn't something I assume unfortunately lol. That's why my builds never take into account any items.

I was really glad to see the work and the heart you put into this, friend; I think Techno would very much agree on the balance options you included, esp regarding his character arc on the DSMP
I'll add Phil to the list, it'd definitely be a labor of love I think. Would be fun to make, now that the initial pain from remembering him is gone and I can just enjoy watching videos involving them both without issue now.

I would have went fighter 6 conquest paladin 14, and just tried to find the items I needed, but great build! RIP techno and BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
Barbarian Zealot also came to mind! But as always there's tons of ways to build them. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Blood for the Blood God!

@@buddyb3165 Probably Aasimar, or through his spellcasting since his flight does technically have a "limit" via repairing a magic item.

Technoblade feels more bear totem warrior barbarian (11 lvls) multiclassed into battlemaster fighter (6 lvls) and minimal investment into alchemist arteficer (3 lvls)
