During transnight DISCO's, govt soldiers would carry out robbing raids disguised as security operations. In the wake of sreaming guns and detonating hand grenades, the lucky revellers would scamper into safety, the less fortunate ones to their graves! Then, as sanity returned, it was always a relief to hear Yvone's distinct un mistaken sweet voice, blaring out of the giant loud speakers, that she needed somebody to hold her! Trust Kampala youth of the 80's, they would go back to finish what they had started! Yvone's sweet melody, was always an oasis in the middle chaos, long live Chaka chaka!
