I speak second language and have difficulty writing a police reports. I can’t organize my thoughts correctly. I’m still in training with my department though. It has been approximately two and a half months. I’m hopping to get a suggestion or a recommendation.
If any of u policemen check this reporting out as a suggestion ; when writing a report for traffic accident , please pay close attention to who the witnesss are and that they might be lieing for the person in the accident . I was involved in a hit and run and while I was telling the officer what happend , some dude shows up and discredits my story and says he was a witness . A lot of times the person that did the hit and run will send a friend over to the accident scene ,have them lie to the officer and check to make sure no one saw his license plate .

I'm sorry about your accident - what a shame that a fake witness made the situation even worse.
