I wandered into this village in the 90s from Venezuela was arrested and treated rather badly was deported. The next time I went there I showed my I'd and when the police went upstairs to radio Georgetown I hit the bush heading back towards Venezuela again. They tried y call me back but I knew better no one was going to chase me into the jungle at nite. So I got away. Loved the place but they didn't want any white man around, so I ran.
