BSA Y13 Motorcycle - Have You Seen One?

My name is Stuart and I am the proud owner of this BSA Y13 Motorcycle. The purpose of this video is to catalogue how many of these beautiful machines still exist in the world today.

I’m not looking for personal information or exact locations of privately owned machines. . .
I’m looking for three categories;
Complete bikes in running condition,
Project bikes that could possibly see the light of day again one day,
and museum bikes.
The object is to better understand how many Y13’s still exist in the world. I was hoping to get a photo, a city and country location and any story that might go with it. For museum bikes, please provide name of museum to avoid duplication.

I made one from 1938 some years ago. I bought it in pieces totally. It took me about five years to get it done, but then lost interest and sold it to UK. Cannot set pictures in here, but have a lot.

I have one Stuart. 1938, as I recall. It was gifted to me by my Father on my 45th birthday. That was 9 years ago and I still haven’t got around to riding it!

I have a good friend, who owns 15 Y13's. He say's he owns 2% of BSA's total production of them. I have worked on quite a few of his collection over the years and am familiar with his collection.

There is one in the Baster Museum near Clermont Ferrand, I was there in June this year. They also have a Matchless Silver Hawk, another favourite of mine.

Nice machine never be tempted to run the gearbox with grease or grease /oil ! its because of the angle of the box only use 90 or better still 140 oil :)
