    Although less sensitive than the P.I Delta Pulse 2 and heavier this is a very good V.L.F one. It has a perfect stability and gives a nice sound. It's to be made. I was about to give up thinking that there was an error in the diagram i couldn't find out when i caught the culprit who prevented it from working from the beginning . A short strap that detached in the inside from the weld.

    Your explanation about the circuits is very good. I would be grateful if you could explain about the discrimination part of this circuit and how it works from the transmitter and receiver signals.
    Thanks...

    Hello, nice explanation, but I have a question, is the Tx signal moving back and and forth, or the GB and Disc signals are the one which moving , in other words Which one is the fixed signal , and Which one is the adjusted ones, phase shift adjustment is made by which signal? Because you mentioned that the TX signal is the one which moving.

      In retrospect I should have explained that the potentiometers were to adjust the phase difference between the RX and the respective GEB and DISC samples. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @@SurfDetector It's my pleasure to watch your videos , I really like the way you explain each part of the circuit separately, it makes things more simple to understand, I would like to see even further details , for example why the phase ajustment for GB take a specific position with respect to RX , and the same thing with the discrimination part, and maybe talk about the ground and the metals , and hoe can we eliminate what we want , just by ajusting the phase between RX and GB/Disc Samples.
      Thank you for your helpful videos. good luck 🙂

    • @SurfDetector
      @SurfDetector  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Emin,
      You will need to experiment in order to make custom size coils. The coil calculator does not work well unless you are making a circle. When you make the coil into a "D" shape the inductance changes. It is best to have an inductance meter and an oscilloscope. For the RX you need about 47nF capacitor. For the TX about 1uF. These values are close but you need to experiment in order to get as close as possible to the correct frequency.
