I love little breakfast shops like that. Limited hours usually means higher attention to quality. Thank you both for taking us on this journey with you 🤗 I think my favorite dish would be the fried chicken in sweet sauce.
Enjoyed the trip. Wish we had such places here where I live in U.S. Really appreciate the subtitles being just slow enough for me to read AND look around.
Seeing the old shops and houses sometimes makes me try to imagine what it would be like to live and work in them. The crispy noodles looks like a good dish.
Wow sound amazing train station very clean and inside train stunning very beautiful and clean ❤ food yummy and delicious I miss Japan if travel again I’ll visit Japan again 🙏🏼🌹thank you from California
I'm planning on finally going to Hokkaido this Nov and will be riding the Shinkansen to get there. Haven't ridden on it since 2010 and looking forward to the trip.
Eateries that locals favor are usually my first choice. Your breakfast in Sasebo looked simple, nutritious, and delicious! Trains are such a wonderful way to travel and the Shinkansen takes train travel to another level. The Kamome is a beautiful, elegant train. Do Shinkansen generally have a few seats with leg room for tall folks (e.g., 6'2" plus)? As always, the scenery was gorgeous. Arita is so picturesque and peaceful. I'd love to browse the pottery shops. Thank you for sharing this with us!
First, the breakfast looked so delicious and Sasebo harbour was picturesque! When you boarded the first train I kept thinking of the times in Toronto I was lucky that we couldn't see the tracks because I had been on multiple rides where someone jumped onto the tracks in front of the train. When I visit Japan I'm going to try to get a front view, I know I have nothing to fear now. The countryside was breathtaking and Arita was stunning! I'd love to live in a town like that. The bullet train was beautiful inside, I'd say understated elegance. Oh, I really hope that I can be able to visit as planned this Christmas through to New Years. 🤞 Just need a clean bill of health.
The set meal you had looked delicious. Enjoyed seeing Arita what a beautiful old town, loved the ceramic pot on the bridge too. The Shinkansen 🚅 looked awesome inside and out. Thanks for an enjoyable video. Looking forward to seeing more videos. 😀👍
I started to follow you during the first wave of Covid when I could travel only via online. Luckily now I am here in Japan🙏🏼 today we tried this train from Nagasaki to Takeo-Onsen. It was extremely nice. I really like your videos but mostly I like that i can see these places with my own eyes.. Thanks for your contents!
Thanks, a textbook example of why Japan is #1. Even this short trip in Kyushu is a treat, peaceful, spotless, with excellent food. I am not a fan of Chinatown in Nagasaki although your meal looks great!
As a Dutchman i must admire how clean everything is. I am afraid what you may think when you visit our country.....someday i want to visit Japan. There is one question i would like to ask. Are you really the singer/songwriter ? If so, your music is beautiful. I watch your videos for hours , this way i still can visit your country.
Love riding the train. . I take Amtrak everywhere. Satoshi would like the train museum in Sacramento. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Japan and the Delicious food.🙂👍👍🍡🍜🍻
Looks like a fun trip! I've been interested in Sasebo as it is a "sister city" to my city (Albuquerque, New Mexico, US)! The food looks great. I also want to visit Nagasaki Biopark someday 🙏💕
Okay I know this will make me sound like a super pampered Westerner. But how do you eat the fish skin? It freaks me out so much. I cannot have skin or scales on my fish. I brings me right back to those days when I was forced to go to my step grandparents house and do nothing but sit there and fish from sun up to sun down on the lake. And even if you never caught a single fish you still ended up covered in fish scales. And even after showing and scrubbing your skin raw you will find scales in your hair, bed, all over your skin. It grosses me out to this day.
In Japan, it is not uncommon to wear masks - even before Covid-19. It is considered a normal sanitary measure and seen as a courtesy to others to wear one during flu season, when one doesn't feel well, or while in dusty environments. This has been a cultural practice for over a century.
Anytime we travel, we stray off the beaten path and find some awesome hidden gem to eat at. Diners that cater to the locals. They are the best.

Thank you for another delightful travel video.
Enjoyed the trip. Wish we had such places here where I live in U.S.

The dinner after the train ride looked so delicious. I’m now hungry and jealous.😊
今までの新幹線より席もリラックスできて車両内も快適そうだと感じました。

TKG tamago-kake-gohan, raw egg topping on rice needs soy sauce absolutely. The soy sauce quantity depends on individual preference.
im heading to Japan in a few months! Gonna defo check out sasebo, really want eo try that Saba and tamagokake gohan at yoshidaya 🙏

How can those trains afford to operate when they don’t have many passengers. Are they gov subsidized?

When will they stop wearing masks in Japan?

Please stop spoiling the video at the beginning.
