GTC Rally 2024 + Historic "Nacht van Achtmaal" - SS5: Achtmaal (de Hel) 2 - all cars (raw footage)

The 5th stage (2nd stage of the 2nd loop) of the 37th GTC Rally.
Unfortunately due to heavy rainfall all Friday morning, all the dirt road sections of this rally had to be scrapped. This stage started with a loop which cars would normally drive 2,5 times, resulting in 3 passes on this location, but the connection road was a dirt road so it became a regular stage and we saw the cars only once. But let's not let that spoil the fun, it's a good location! :-)
The stage was won by Ingo ten Vregelaar (3, Škoda Fabia R5), however he is only 9th in the classification; Dennis Rostek (4, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, thumbnail) is in the lead.
In historic, Maurik van den Heuvel (105, Ferrari 308 GTB) was the fastest, 7.7 seconds before Antoine Biesheuvel (101, BMW E30 M3). Biesheuvel is leading the rally with 42.9 seconds advantage on Antoine van Ballengooijen (102, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth); van den Heuvel is currently 3rd on +1:41.1.

The famous "Nacht van Achtmaal", a rare edition I think with the weather 😃 For a night video I am pretty pleased, imagine what it would have been if all competitors went by here 3 times as was originally the purpose! The excessive rain in the morning really spoiled a lot, after the stage we still had another challenge ourselves, get the car from the muddy field that was the parking (only one of 3 that was planned could even open). But all went well, we got off by ourselves and otherwise there were people to help everybody who couldn't, big thumbs up to the organisers!
