The exact mechanisms of secondary energy failure remain unclear ,unclear and unclear
But
Appear to be related to
1 oxidative stress
2.excitotoxcity
And
3 inflammation
The overproduction of free radicals which cause damage to neuronal cell membranes lead to necrosis or apoptosis causes oxidative stress
However
Latent phase is
3R re perfusion ,recovery and resolution
But
Temporary and still ( apoptosis cascade,secondary inflammation)
You have to catch this chance of temporary temporary resolution ( therapeutic widow)
And starting cooling or therapeutic hypothermia( freezing this latent phase )
