I been running a seat lock for a couple of years. It works great & looks great. It’s well made and color matched to my Snake Venom Street Glide. I highly recommend it.
I have had this product for almost a year. It’s very well made. The only problem I have found is that the road vibration causes it to loosen. My suggestion is to tighten it up very tight. Once I tightened it up very tight I haven’t had any problems. Great video
I wouldn’t use loctite for this application. I’d be super concerned that you wouldn’t be able to get it out when you needed to. I have a Heritage Softail and if the battery goes bad and I loctite the seatlox I’d be up the river without a paddle. But thanks for the suggestion.

I saw on his web site I can get a seat lock and have it keyed to work together with my new lid lock. Wished I knew about this before. I had Saddlemen upholster my new StreetGlide RoadSofa in Hello Kitty pink so no one would steal my seat. This seems like a better idea.
Great video! I found out about RB about 2 months ago and I ordered his seat lock in black for my Saddleman Dominator solo seat and passenger pillion. Very happy with it.

Needle nose gets that Amazon lock screw right off easy! I just bought this R.B. lock very smart little lock. $80 but better $80 than being stuck somewhere without a seat that cost $800 or more. And a long ride home on a battery! If they really want it! Its hard to stop them, but at events, people will pick the easy targets over the hard ones
yes it is...its a great investment whether you have stock or a custom seat..even the stock seats are pricey if you have to replace it. And youre right...if they want it they will get it..seen it happen.

hey try...no it doesnt..when you lock it down it is tight, plus there is a rubber gasket in there so no vibrations. Its one the best things I have bought for my bikes.

Harley makes a great docking hardware lock and locking fuel cap. I normally dont just buy everything HD but these two items you can get keyed to your bike.

@@sikbaggers I emailed them and they do have one for the standard touring solo seat that attaches with the two bolts. They also said if the C&C bracket bolt is 1/4 20 bolt they have one that will fit. I am away this week and will check the C&C bolt when I get back home.

I've seen these type of locks open with a plastic pen, hell I've opened a small lock box that i owned that had a lock like this with a bic plastic pen. I'm wondering if that's an issue. Can yall test that? Thank you I'm interested in the locks too but am hesitant for that reason
never seen it but im sure there are ways to do it...any lock can be picked...if thats the case though you better change your lid locks and your tour pack locks as well from HD..they are the same style tumbler locks.

yes, unfortunatly the world we live in if someone wants your seat they will take it...nothing is bullet proof but I would roll the dice on this one over a screw. Its sad we even have to worry about it to be honest.
Interesting that vast majority of metric bikes have seats on key from factory. And needless to say, it's ignition key that unlocks the seat, convenience. Just saying...

I completely understand your reserve on the price but even with a 100 dollar deductible, and a long ride home with no seat under you and then the struggle with insurance to replace your seat...I'll get the lock and not deal with any of that.

Perhaps a drop of Loctite on the thread to firmly secure it? provided you won't be planning on changing seats for some time

I don't use loctite. I wrape some Teflon tape on the threads and this helps. Never vibrated loose. Try it.

Ive heard of thieves stealing tailgates from pickups, it seems anything not locked is prime for theft

no it is tight against the shaft...it turns but does not rattle by no means.
