I like these type of videos. Keep 'em coming. These beachfront hotels are exactly that...beachfront. Pricey and since these have been there for decades...they tend to be "dated". A friend stayed at the Natural Beach last summer...it was very "dated".

IMHO these are the best hotels in all of Pattaya, thank you for making a video about them. I stayed at Sea Me Spring Tree and everything was perfect. Right next to the beach I wouldn't even need a pool. In that road you have got all you need, from food to massage to bars. They also offer a 'late checkout' which is very convenient if your flight goes in the afternoon or at night. At the bottom end you're right at 2nd road (which has a 7/11) and Soi Honey which leads to Buakhao. Perfect.

Agree with you, in and around Soi 10 as a location is tough to beat. If you have to be by the beach in the City The Wave is fabulous, but expensive. Directly behind it however, is The Bayview, owned by the same people and great value,a real gem.

Thanks for showing us these hotels close to Pattaya Beach ! But I personally think you get better value-for-money if you stay close to Soi Bukhao (somewhere betweeen 2nd Road andf 3rd Road). I stayed in Nalanta Hotel for 4 weeks each in May 2022 and January 2023 and there I paid 999 Baht/night for a bigger room. You are right in the middle of the night life action (TreeTown, LK Metro; Soi MiT, New Plaza etc.etc.) and walking distance to Pattaya Beach is only 8 min., to baht bus 2min., Central Festivel Shopping Centre 6 min. 👍🌴🌞

Thanks for these videos Daz. Just from a personal point of view there are probably many older guys like me watching who use a CPAP machine at night so it would be good if you could pause the camera besides each side of the beds for a moment to show where there are power points. Also, to confirm if there is lift access to all floors. Some of the cheaper hotels only have stairs. One thing people should bear in mind is that open stair access between floors is a fire hazard and would not be allowed in Australia UK etc but is prevalent in Thailand. Even the Mercure in Pattaya has an open staircase.
    Keep up the good work.

I stayed at Sea Me Spring more than a decade ago when it was new. It was nice back then. I stayed there again back around 2018-19 and it was tired and smelly. I stayed in Sea Me Spring Too around that same time, and it wasn't any better. I've stayed in Page 10 on the same Soi multiple times and enjoyed it.

It's nice to see my home from home, and the hotels are a bargain. I have thought about coming over but with high air fares and nice summer weather in the UK, I think I will wait until Dec/Jan. I last came in low season in 2015, and it was heavily overcast for 3 solid weeks. I think the sun made a bried appearance one afternoon. On that occasion I was flying up from the Australian winter, but now UK based, I don't think coming in a UK summer with not much change out of £1000 for an airfare..... I think I prefer a winter trip. I still enjoy seeing whats around though Daz. Thanks.

I like the hotels with a separate bath because I like to take my yellow rubber ducky on holidays with me and have a sing with him in the bath.
    Rubber duckie you're the one
You make bath time lots of fun
Rubber duckie I'm awfully fond of you
    Rubber duckie joy of joys
When I squeeze you, you make noise
Rubber duckie you're my very best friend it's true
Oh, every day when I make my way to the tubby
I find a little fellow who's cute and yellow and chubby
    Rub-a-dub-dubby
    Rubber duckie, you're so fine
And I'm lucky that you're mine
Rubber duckie, I'm awfully fond of you

I have booked a condo at the base central pattaya for 2 nights, but I've heard people saying that its actually illegal to rent a room there if your stay is under 30 days. Can you confirm that? What alternative would you advise around the same location and buget eventually?

Yes, it's illegal to rent a room anywhere in Thailand for less than 1 month, UNLESS the place has a HOTEL License.
