St Martins - Scilly Isles - A 4K video tour

- St Martin's is the most northeasterly and third largest of the main Scilly Isles.
In this short video I take a walk more or less from end to end of the island. Starting at Lower Town, passing through Higher Town and ending up in, yes you guessed it, Higher Town!
On the way back we head for the beach - of which there is no shortage on St Martin's - or any of the other Scilly Isles for that matter.
Oh, and there is a celebrity sighting at 1:37
Dam . I lived on St Martin's till I was 24 in 1986 . I was happy to leave and live on the mainland. What a fool I was . No jobs in the winter. Poor pay . No housing. Worked on that hotel a bit, loading cement from the little helicopter that had a big net hanging from underneath. The pilot was an Australian guy and he knew how to fly the thing . Pity you didn't do much of higher town ,guess you ran out of time . I'm 60 now and think about the friends I left behind. My childhood sweetheart moved to Portsmouth so she didn't stay long after I left . Miss the place big time .
Me too LOL . I miss the place and think about it . Even now I'm getting jobs available in St Mary's . Anyone on here wants to sail from south Wales to the Scilly let me know as I'll pay my way .
Nice guide, wish you could've got some footage at the highest point and taken a boat out to the most Western islands (Looks like: Crim Rocks, on the OS map!)
