I love to see more airgun videos and Hunter with a guns coming from an area close to home not for away as California or Arizona I leave in Brandywine md and I only hunt with my air rifle.. please keep the videos coming
It was really interesting to see how well the Benjamin pellets did on high power. I think the reason for that is the Benjamin was the only pellet tested that was not pure lead. They mix in a little antimony for better uniformity and less deformation in the skirt area creating a harder pellet. In this case it had the added benefit of being able to handle the higher velocity better. I think your videos are some of the most informative on the net. Keep up the good work.
Good information. I look forward to shooting my Sumatra 2500 .25. I bought a large variety of hunting subs and pellets. Thanks for your sharing your experience.
If I had to choose THE MAIN difference in the 2, I couldn't do it...I mean the most obvious difference is the length...and when you put the 2 in your hands you'll notice a weight/ balance difference too. When you shoot them, even if you're just plinking you'll notice a power difference too...the long delivers more fpe while the carbine (which has more than enough power for the task at hand) is much easier to maneuver because it weighs less and takes up less space. ..main difference? Pick 1/ add 1. The thing I will say is that I have gone through quite a few different brands of pcp air rifles and the Koreans are the best for what I do
What would be better, the sumatra 2500 in .25 cal or a Benjamin marauder in .25? What has the best power, accuracy, shot count, range. Which is the easiest to fill with a hand pump, which is overall best all around air rifle?
Just got the bulldog .357 love it but would love more if i can shoot more now am looking in the .25cal. This is the right one to get cuz of the power compared to other .25 even the air force but the sumatra is butter and more powerful
Gerald Williams Gerald, I sold my little carbine man :( ...I felt so bad I sent and got the Career II 707 in 22 cal...It is another awesome little Korean bro! I can't get enough of it...Think I'm gonna take this one down to Will Pitt and have him do his magic on it...Gonna do a video to show the differences in the Sumatra vs the Shin Shun
@@tonydavisbusiness the carbine of course is shorter and lighter making it more portable... especially if you're a smaller framed individual.... The carbine also has: smaller air tubes meaning it will hold less air... it is also just a little less powerful and you will get less shots per fill with the Carbine....
sultan26706 all you do to adjust the power to a slower speed is turn the power wheel to the left...It is best to use a chronograph when adjusting the fps on any rifle to ensure you're getting the proper power for whatever your application
Thanks

I'm also in Maryland, Glen Burnie .Do you know of any area's that allows hunting with airguns?
I have the long gun version. It has to be one of the best airguns ever made. It is the hammer of .22 air rifles. I highly recommend it!

Someone should take this cost effective, humble air rifle to extreme bench rest and show them how its done..
Was wondering if you could test the Benjamin pellets in the Sumatra 2500 .25 cal. Carbine as well?
Christopher Xindaris I could...but I can tell you that the Benji pellets do very well in both versions of the Sumatra
