@@JanManChronicles I don't know if she was wearing the armor but the live actress on the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade MOTU float around 1985 had the cobra staff. You briefly see her standing on the top of the castle and see more of the staff than Teela herself. As elaborate as all the characters were dressed with matching life-size figure weapons, she likely had the armor, too.
@@JanManChronicles Right here. They returned the following year, adding Sssqueeze and a few others to the live parade show. th-cam.com/video/aC3t8n-ZcaE/w-d-xo.html
I thought the same thing about the Mer Man figure, yeah, He man is never angry ? at least not all the time, so that new figure maybe caught him on a bad day, but yeah, he is a positive role model because he is nice to people and does things for the good of eternia
My personal top 10 favourite Masters of the universe characters: 1) Man-At-Arms 2) He-Man/Prince Adam 3) Teela 4) She-Ra/Adora 5) Hordak 6) Skeletor 7) Mosquitor 8) The Sourceress 9) Stratos 10) King Randor
Teela's figure was supposed to double for two characters because Mattel were cheap, and didn't want to release 3? female figures, just teela and evil lynn, Teela and the Goddess were both supposed to be represented by her figure, the Goddess wore a snake outfit and was green skinned and gave He -Man his battlements and armour as a reward for saving her from a beast, this was in the mini comics, before the cartoon changed her into a bird armored sorceress. her snake armor made sense , because the predecessors of the eternians were the Snake People , who built Snake Mountain, and maybe also Castle Greyskull
This was my childhood also, JM. The art was stellar. Did you notice that in the box art from Castle Grayskull (1980s), Beastman was on the side of He-Man against Skelator?
10. Original He-Man 09. Original Skeletor 08. Trap Jaw 07. Original Hordak 06. Prince Adam (jup :) 05. Faker 04. Hurricane Hordak 03. King Randor 02. Ninjor 01. Scare Glow

Great Job! Best MOTU review I have seen, lots of soul in to it!
Teela was my favorite - the cobra armor and staff improved her look and was disappointed she never had either in the animated show.
Numba1 Heathen love the cobra armor as well!

Numba1 Heathen that’s interesting. Is there a video of that or pictures online?

I thought this was a good list, it included most of my favorites, except Trap Jaw.
Scott89878 Trap-Jaw is right outside my Top 10 favorites!
Then make your own list
Trap Jaw, Tri klops, Skeletor, Man at arms, Jitsu, Hordak, Webstor, Man e faces, Beastman and He-man... I loved them all but that's my top 10.
It's cool how you showed the action figures. Did not know about the classic line.
This was my childhood also, JM. The art was stellar.

Always thought MerMan was carrying around a corn cob as a weapon.
My favorite is Clawful!
Surprised he was the first boss in the MOTU game for Gameboy Advanced - and difficult, too.
