My cousin works for the Angels front office (mid-level guy). He says EVERYONE in the dugout freaking LOVES Ohtani--even Trout. My cuz says when they're on the road, Shohei doesn't go out clubbing or even out to eat. He just orders room service...or take-out...and just stays in and plays video games with other teammate.s..and they just have a blast in their hotel rooms.

Don't succumb to using gimmicks or dirty tricks on ohtani. It's just not right. Give it all you've got, pitch your best to him, right, true, and fair. Simple as that. If the pitcher showed respect and ohtani smashed him, respect. Fair play. Ohtani knows what respect is all about. Resorting to timing gimmicks is semi pro at best, disrespectful at worst.
