- Watch this video and learn how to take care of your pug dog breed.
The Pug is one of the oldest recognized companion dog breeds, with origins dating back to before 400BC in China. Pugs were brought back from China by Dutch merchants in the 1500s, and the breed became the emblem of the House of Orange after a pet pug saved the Prince of Orange's life by barking to warn him of incoming Spanish troops. When William and Mary of
Orange came to England to take the throne, they brought their Pugs with them, igniting a pug craze in the United Kingdom. Queen Victoria later became a Pug fanatic, holding and breeding a large number of her own.
In this video you will learn everything about caring for a pug, so make sure you watch till the end.

I’ve had two pugs that lived well over 15 years of loving fun years. These are the best dogs ever. The only things is they shed a lot. Small price to pay for a faithful, loving companion.
I got a Pug yesterday from the animal shelter
We breed them. They have a channel. Happy pug I’m sure you have!

Very useful tips thank you so much for making such videos.
My mom and i were fostering a pug from the humane society but this dog man, it' was a very special dog and we got approved to bypass the people who found this guy in the country some where to own him.. we call him "buddy" & he's about 8 years old but soo full of energy and love we dont think he's 8 but thats what they said. He also has a underbite... it's NOT UGLY HE"S THE BEST LITTLE DOG!!
We have our pug since 2021 and our house has never been the same since then we are full of joy with our pug. Her name is Bella ❤
For those that are considering getting your first pug. Yes, health issues with the pug breed are possible like the video says, but every dog has their own issues. I had a pug for 16 years. What I'll say to those that are interested in possibly getting a pug is if you want a diehard, loving, funny companion, the pug is hard to beat. They'll be your best friend for their life and you'll get immense joy from your pug. They're little clown dogs. Very silly and super loving. Getting a pug is something you'll never regret
I love my pug Yoshi!!❤❤
Love mine so very much 😊❤
I Said I would never own a pug now I have a pug best dog ever

A study conducted by The Royal Veterinary College concluded pugs face dire health risks due to INBREEDING. The consequences of inbreeding for their specific appearance have become detrimental to their overall health.
Breeders kill the pups that dont posess desirable traits and many pups live excruciatingly painful lives with many disorders and disease, some hardly can function.
To understand the impacts more, the study looked at 4,308 pugs and 21,835 dogs of other breeds in the U.K., comparing their health profiles and odds of developing 40 common disorders
The study found that pugs had an increased risk for 23 disorders, including being 54 times more likely to have brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome, 51 times more likely to have narrowed nostrils, 11 times more likely to have skin fold infections. In addition, 17.4% of the pugs were obese, compared to just 6.9% of other dogs.
Not many will speak out because its bad for business. Its designed for breeders to charge top dollar for the cutest pug and veterinarians arent going to speak up because they make a killing on pug visits because their health issues.
Every pug you buy from a breeder promotes the suffering and death of thousands of pugs
Just wondering what's the best way to combat this? Is it to not buy them at all? I do not support the "buying" of pets but rather people adopt them.
music to loud
