    I’m so glad I found your video, I bought the shampoo, and all the tool used. I didn’t realize pugs shed so much, it’s now been 4 weeks, 3 washes & we almost shed free with a beautiful looking coat which I so soft. Thanks, I’m so happy with the results!

    Extremely informative for PUG owners, thanks so much. Ineed info on nail trimming with an electric nail trimming tool utilizing rotating sanding discs. I purchased a DREMEL rotary tool especially designed for dog nails and cat claws. Any info for this process would be appreciated.

    Such a well behaved little guy. I don’t have a pug yet but I do hope to buy/adopt a pug puppy sometime in the next 6 months. Was wondering what shampoo/conditioner would be good for a pug puppy? Also what tools?

      That’s so exciting, I recommend using the puppy collection and a soft slicker until your baby pug gets their adult coat then I would use a tool that removes the loose dead undercoat💗 melanienewman.com.au/collections/the-puppy-collection

    How often do you do this treatment? Weekly, Monthy...?

    • @MelanieNewmanSalonEssentials
      @MelanieNewmanSalonEssentials  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I would de shed my dog weekly, to remove all the dead unwanted coat, allowing the new healthy coat to grow through. Bathing from every week to 4weeks, depending on how dirty your pug gets.💕

    • @MelanieNewmanSalonEssentials

      Hi Giorgi, I will do a video on this but you can use a face washer around that area to wash and wipe so you don’t need to put the water nozzle near the ear. You can also block the ears with cotton wool.

    the furminator has very sharp teeth that if you use it that hard and with wet hair will probably hurt terribly the dog skin. be carefull to the ones who use the original furminator

    A study conducted by The Royal Veterinary College warns pugs face dire health risks due to INBREEDING, and concluded the dog breed can "no longer be considered as a typical dog from a health perspective."
    The consequences of inbreeding for their specific appearance have become detrimental to their overall health.
    Breeders kill the pups that dont posess desirable traits and many pups live excruciatingly painful lives with many disorders and disease, some hardly can function.
    Basically, they mate a brother and sister together that have the best looking traits(wrinkles, tail etc) and the offspring of those with the best traits are kept for breeding, the others are killed and or suffer deformities and disease.
    To understand the impacts more, the study looked at 4,308 pugs and 21,835 dogs of other breeds in the U.K., comparing their health profiles and odds of developing 40 common disorders
    The study found that pugs had an increased risk for 23 disorders, including being 54 times more likely to have brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome, 51 times more likely to have narrowed nostrils, 11 times more likely to have skin fold infections. In addition, 17.4% of the pugs were obese, compared to just 6.9% of other dogs.
    Not many will speak out because its bad for business. Its designed for breeders to charge top dollar for the cutest pug and veterinarians arent going to speak up because they make a killing on pug visits because their health issues.
    Every pug you buy from a breeder promotes the suffering and death of thousands of pugs
