Back in early 90's saw Domi drop 3 guys in bar called uncle Tony's in less than 10 secs...after fight I heard one of the losers tell the other 2 " I told u he could fight w out his skates on" true story.
holy fuck. I've only ever been in a pushy-shovey on skates and damn. The leg strength you need is no joke on skates, and you need to have some stamina or end up on your ass like an idiot from a shoving match. In shoes?! Of course Domi could fight in street clothes!
@@christopherjaskowiak9073 Here we go again. Domi wasn't known for his ko power. He ko'd very few people compared to Probert,Kocur,Brown,Twist etc. That's a fact. Domi has a ton of fights but you rarely see him ko people like those heavy hitter did. I'm not arguing over this because his fight card proves it.
"TY DOMI FEARED NO ONE!" "THAT'S WHAT MADE HIM THE HOCKEY PLAYER / FIGHTER PLAYER ON THE ICE HE WAS KNOWN FOR & PLAYER HE WAS & HE WAS GREAT AT IT!" "GREAT STORY GUYS!"
If that Owen Sound story is true then I am pretty sure I know the guy who did it. He used to bounce at the bar across the street from Brothers, but I can't remember the exact name of the bar. Guy was a big dude, like bodybuilder big, and he was a lacrosse player. Great stories
Great fight stories by Terry Ryan, and his interactions with Domi on/off the ice. Great story about Domi fighting that guy outside, that kept bothering him while Domi was eating dinner with family. #LEGEND
Did the #8 overall pick in the draft (Terry Ryan) ruin his NHL chances worrying about fighting? Or was his skating that bad? I mean, it wasn't the best draft year I guess.
Play bullshit Jr. coming out of New York City you’ll never believe who the first flight I ever had in a junior game he was in a rehab stint for an injured knee Brian Bugsy Watson I’m left-handed to make a long story short he was a great great guy took me out we all got arrested it was amazing
friend of mine married a woman who's brother played against domi in OHL . Fabio - 6'4 230 in his rookie yr Domi was known for waiting until the end of the opponent's shift when they were good and tired to start a fight . Sure enough Fabio experienced this Domi came on as he was exhausted and dropped the gloves and finished him

I met Domi once with my young nephew and he was super gracious and generous with his time.
Most of the best scrappers in the NHL came out of Canada! A lot of heart.
Lol I've been to the brass rail. I was 18 that place was amazing
domi, the east side marios champ
Best storyline ever !!!. Thank you for sharing !!!.

That's my friend Derek Amell the linesman number 75 in the video of him and Domi..
Legendary Domi discussion.
The brass rail omg memories
What's he doin scrappin' to impress ? Mtl. drafted him to score. In his defense, Mtl usually screws up their draft choices.
even the fan he beat up likes him again now

Tie Domi and Rob Ray is legendary. Great story though.
Domi a good guy, he's from Belle River; just like Terry Ryan from Mount Pearl Newfoundland. Raised right!!!!
