I would like to share my story with this phrasel verbs. I got to go to Bali last summer. When my plane took off I felt my exciment that moment. After landed it, I got in taxi which I arranged before I go. Driver was so cute person, he was trying to explain me the balineese cultere when he was driving around the ısland. We stopped a grocery store for me buying some food. I was extremly worn out. When I got off the taxi I got to my cottage. There were a lovely couple whose owners of those cottages. They helped me to settle in. It was located in a quite and green garden with rice fields next to it. I felt that just my day turned around.

Another example of “to get to” meaning to bother or annoy. As in, don’t let it get to you. Don’t let it bother you.
