Watching these videos, I realize that this is modern day art. This is comparable to the Statue of David by Michelangelo. Much effort was put into this, and not many people appreciate it as much.

Wei Jiang are proving to be an impressive third-party company so good that I can't even see it as a ko.
Improved Offs: A luxurious figure who is of higher quality to the original figure, whose mold has been stolen and altered, and makes an effort to distinguish itself.
(I would of gone with Better Offs, but that would make them B.O.s)

That is awesome, may actually get the rest of the AOE autobots now, got drift as a Christmas present two years ago and was kinda interested in leader class Optimus prime when I saw the dr why sword for him, but the need for good scaled hound figure kinda kept me from buying the others

same here. i was always very impressed with the engineering on that piece. especially being a movie toy and all. Evasion mode from AOE also tickles my fancy.

I *adore* this guy. Definitely glad I held off on getting any of the other KO Hound figures because, scaling aside, he's hands-down the best of the bunch.
Getting the legs lined up for transformation and properly tabbing in the back of the truck mode can be a chore, but he definitely looks incredible. And I completely missed all that head articulation! It's really stiff on mine, so I thought it could only turn very slightly to either side. Regarding the grenades and tags, maybe can just be dropped into the back of the truck (between his arms) before the back section gets fully closed up?
To store the tags and grenade in vehicle mode, I drop them beside the "spare tire" just behind the cabin.
Also, don't forget the tiny gun in his legs and plug them under the cabin in vehicle mode.

I’ve noticed there’s 2 mpm size continuities: mpm4, with this figure, tf dream factory bonecrusher, official mpm ironhide, etc,
And mpm3, with m01 optimus, black mamba ss megs, etc
Great that they've fixed the QC issue. So gutted mine is broken and incomplete... Too impatient... Unsure if its worth shelling out again for the reissue..? I really want those knifes!!! I've got mine on the shelf in bot mode, scales well with the KBB voyager sized AOE Bumblebee and the Takara leader Armor Knight Optimus.

Yep, except from shockwave, but it's very posable, and it have a gimmick to have two hand or one hand and the cannon

It's not a question of can they, it's a question of will their repainting streak outlive us all. If they get to Starscream they'll be a Movie Starscream, cartoon deco Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Sunstorm, Acidstorm, an original black and red repaint, Blastoff, Spay-C, Nacell, and a battle damaged version of all of them. So yes it will outlive us.
Hi Benscollectables, I have always loved your reviews. However, you messed up the transformation of this Weijiang Hound! You did not highight the tucking in of the waist!!! The problem of your transformation is NOT the angling of the thigh!! I almost gave up on the transformation to alt mode because you missed that KEY step!

How do you know if yours is the second version?
I'd like it if they did a scaled down version of M01 Commander to fit in with Armor Inspector here. It's a great figure but it takes up a lot of shelf space because of its size.
I think there is some room in the cab for the dogtags and grenade (Though they may fall out I guess). You could always wrap the dog tag's chain around the guns before tabbing them between the front wheels too. possibly clipping the grenades on the chain ?
Also have you considered not folding the wheels up until last might give you enough finger room to align the tabs on the back flush with the body then do the wheels.
I don't like knock offs. But compared to the Hasbro's version where this mold was based, it's a very good KO. Vehicle mode is amazing!

Robot mode is GREAT but the alt mode is an absolute DISASTER. The guns don't peg on properly and the rear side panels feel like they're going to break when trying to line them up (which they don't really). All in all still good but just be aware.
You know the panels that are the vehicle’s rear headlights? They swivel in and on mine, added a piece where it’s meant to end up and I can’t remove it so :/
Hello Ben. So I purchased a weijiang M02 from TF-direct instead of buying one in China because you said the bars on the shoulders of the updated version tend not to have breaking problems. However, when I received my toy the materials on the two bars are different. One has a shiny black color and the other a mat black color. The texture is different of course. From your video it seems like your specific toy has the shiny black color. Is it safe to say I got a toy with one new and one old shoulder bar? Thanks.

Wei Jiang is no.#1, Transformers toy makers for me specialy the movie version, awsome very-very acurate.. That's why I collect them all.. 'Wei Jiang is better than Hasbro.. But I hope that some day all of the 'Transformers Toy makers in asia are combining and colaboration for making the all movie version of 'Transformers.. Specialy the 'Dino form of 'Grimlock....

great review... but you didn't show a comparison with M-01. for some reason its hard to find a shot of those 2 from anybody and they are from the same everything line, designer, company, movie. please post some shots of him with M-01 and some HA figures as a group with the other hound(s?) for a comparison in bot and alt modes as only you can?
This is designed by Black Apple who in my eyes is not a TF enthusiastic but a genius that you don't see often, Without him, Weijiang would be still focusing child toys. Had to give Black Apple a shout out.
I want this. So very badly. But I wish they had used the larger Leader sized bot for this, they probably wouldn't have had so many breakage issues if they had.
I would never transform him, I always keep mine in robot mode, he is too beautiful, and I also fear of breaking something, he is very delicate.
Now if they made a Triple Changing Drift...
IMHO its not look like a warmachine but like a green frog xD maybe because its small size than a grimlock made by wj or bmb

I'm this close to getting started on collecting KOs...I'm only on the fence because I have to allocate my $ on Beast Wars MPs and the relaunched MPM line. Hoping for a renewed Barricade, one of my fave designs from the Bayverse
my only nitpicks with it is I just wish they painted his beard black or grey and paint the grenade pins grey

I just got this guy and I think he scales well with MPM-3 Bumblebee (I know that wasn't available at the time of this review)
Disappointed that it isn't as big as KBB.
I definitely have to consider this figure, but after seeing his Last Knight rendition, I'm hoping WeiJein tackles that and improves all the figures as well for that line.
To be honest, i hate Wei Jiang a lot. They make a good Figures which can transform perfectly, and the suck part is, i want them all. That's why i hate them XD (It's expensive i mean very expensive in my country, and also hard to find the seller who sold it)

I have the first over sized version but this looks so much better
I've had this one for a while now but I guess it was the first one as one of the shoulder/backpack pylons was broken in the box.
Repaired it though and it's still a fantastic figure, such detail just makes this stand out in your collection.
Ofcourse the vehicle mode is the winner being gorgeous and basically perfect.
Totally agree on the rear panels being very fiddly and difficult to line up (I managed to break one of the inside line-up tabs in the rear panel just by trying to force everything to snap into place) but I was sold on this figure right from the start due to his fantastic wheel/foot designs. The original movie Hound was definitely one of the best releases from the AoE film line, but is an absolute embarrassment compared to this guy even with all his flaws.

Hound is one of my favourite Bayverse characters, a perfect mix of altmode, character and voice actor.
Though I can understand why some people think "Hound" is the wrong name for him. Personally, I think it fits, but I wouldn't have complained if this guy were named Bulkhead or even Ironhide.

Nicolás Pérez i havent really found one yet, cheapest Ive found is 40, but maybe they can go cheaper. I think its worth the price of a leader class considering its MP worthy, however I am a budgeter before a collector and choose my purchases wisely.

Tight joints, very solid plastics, amazing paint, this bot is really a Masterpeice. As for size, it's a solid ultra class. The middle ground between voyager and leader. My guess is it will fit pretty well along the other regular AoE/TLK deluxes. Because the regular voyager is just too small. Robot Force will be of a perfect size.
