    I would love black and white version of this deck so I could colour it in myself...that would definitely be a way to connect with it. I'm not too sure about those expressionless faces but thought your interpretation of them certainly works. 😌...my serene emoji face...

    I absolutely LOVE this deck. I wasn't sure when I first got it, but I did a kind of 'self love' reading the other day and it was so positive and gentle. The artwork is bright and uplifting without being too loud and in your face. The card stock is so nice to shuffle and the keywords aren't intrusive, but great for a beginner.

    Oh, really enjoyed this; partly because I have it and have been using it this month as my Ego deck for monthly medicine. I guess without realizing it I liked this deck because it didn’t seem scary, but seemed to treat me kindly even when it was telling me something tough. As a beginner, I really enjoyed the key words. They helped a lot but weren’t at all intrusive when I was trying to study the image. I used it in January, too. Of course, the art work was amazing. Thanks for going through it as you did, and yes, I’d love this sort of podcast with other decks as well. Stay safe.

    I’ve been thinking lately that the art in this deck is really pretty and there is a sale at the shop I go to right now, but while the keywords in the art doesn’t bother me, the keywords in The Lovers would. I don’t read The Lovers like that, but I’d be stuck seeing those words since they stick out a bit more. I really don’t like it when The Lovers is done like that because not all of us experience romantic attraction (literally me) or love. It makes it so hard to read when decks are very blatant with making the art to be read that way, especially since I just read for myself. Same when decks do the whole divine masculine and feminine stuff because no. I’m not for that binary.
    The artwork is so pretty though, but that’s why great walkthroughs like this can be so useful!

    Thank you so much for posting this more mindful type of walk through! This is such a wonderful way to learn about a deck from both the creators perspective and ones own personal perspective. I just ordered this deck, and I am so grateful you went through guidebook with the cards. The guidebook is very hit and miss for me. I would have been so much more nervous about keeping and using this deck if it wasn’t for this video; you addressed so much of the concerns and highlights about the guidebook, cards, and with using the cards and guidebook together. I greatly appreciate your insights! I would love to see more videos like this one in the future!

    Love to hear your take on the cards. The artwork reminds me of Peter Max posters from the 60s (old hippie here). I've heard you say you have a different interpretation of 3 of Swords in many of your videos, but haven't heard what it is. Could you share that? Thank you for taking the time to share this deck with us.

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In a nutshell, I see the swords as the suit of the mind and three is the number of growth, so for me the three of swords is growth of the mind. I did promise the Weavers a 3 of swords rant very soon! I'm also hoping to do a series later this year going through my personal interpretation of all the cards. Thank you for watching. ❤️

    • @clairdeluna70

      @@DawnMichelleTarot thank you! Being fairly new to Tarot, I have tried to read intuitively using general idea behind suit with the corresponding number ... but it often doesn't match the particular card description. I think this is why I've been having trouble. I certainly look forward to your series of interpretations. Thanks again!

    I've gone back and forth on this deck. I love the backs and I see what your saying about the quietness from the deck. This is a great deck to keep it in mind as a possible gift for someone new to Tarot, especially since it doesn't have any harsh images. Thank you for your lovely walkthrough.

    Really appreciate your perspective on this deck. I had actually got it thinking it would be lovely to do inner child work as the art reminded me of Mary Engelbreit, and I used to have journals with her artwork on the cover as a little girl. But once I got the deck and flipped through it I was very surprised to note how very not inner kid work the art and cards felt. I associate the neutral serene faces with lots of swords/air energy, broader objective perspectives and honestly those decks with their neutral equanimity can feel somewhat cold and distant to me. I often tease I love a tarot deck I can cuddle and make out with, that draws me in to the story and emotion and humanity and I struggle to settle into decks like this. Clearly something to explore and hearing your thoughts gave new perspective and considerations which I appreciate. Also enjoyed drinking my coffee sharing in your process of going through a new deck and would definitely enjoy watching you do this with other decks. Thank you so much for this.

    This is such a pretty deck. I had purchased it months ago from Barnes and Noble and returned it for another deck because of the king of pentacles being damaged. From what I hear, everyone who has this deck has a damaged King. Guess it's something to do with the band that comes around the cards. It's totally worth it tho, I really enjoy this deck. I'm going to trim it down and that will fix that card. Thank you for watching. ❤️

    I bought this deck a few weeks ago. I really had to had it, the moment I first saw it. It gave me so quiet and calm vibes. A few years ago when my kids were younger, we often sat down and we all were coloring in mandalas. And I colored mine very very similar to this art style. Coloring in these mandalas with my kids gave me such good vibes, calm and meditative. This deck gives me these vibes and I love it.

    I was actually looking for a deck to explore and shift my relationship with abundance and finances so I think this deck might work for that. Usually I use the earth suite for things like gardening, elemental magic and spirit of place but I would like a deck where finances are a part. Especially in this era of rising inflation and house prices , insanely expensive health care (in America) and a rapidly shifting job market. I do agree that it focuses on money a lot but honestly during these times financial stability s a huge concern for a great many people. I also really love the extraq cards but I have to admit I am a sucker for extra cards and I always keep them in. I agree with your opinion about the artwork and guidebook not really matching each other. It's hard to focus on financial health if you can't afford food or a roof over your head. As always, love your walkthroughs and perspectives :)

    My King of Pentacles also has some marks on the sides from the paper that was around the deck. But I was really interested in hearing you are studying Mary Magdalene. I have also been studying her. So far I've read The Meaning of Mary Magdalene by Cynthia Bourgeault, The Gospel of Mary of Magdala by Karen King and Mary Magdalene Revealed by Meggan Watterson. I know this is totally off topic from this video but I feel like after reading these that the apostles really missed the whole point of what Jesus was trying to teach them. I do not like Christianity as it is and I'm pretty sure Jesus and Mary wouldn't either. Anyway, if you have different books that you have read I would love to know. Back on topic, I really enjoyed this video. I just bought this deck so I followed along with you and I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the cards.
