When he was testing the starter relay, where was he grounding to (where is he placing the black multimeter probe)?

Not bad. And, thanks for your effort.
But, a smoother, down the line, sequence, would have been easier to follow. Doesn't look like a preview outline was performed.
This clip may well have lost those in the audience who didn't know the circuit.
However, useful information, for those who could see it through.

Can I pull the battery and jump the starter motor while it's still installed on the bike just a quick sec or two to verify energizing the starter motor works?

My 1500 drifter, (2000) model,, clatterd and will not start but I can hear something spinning at a high rpm. Do I have an abendex type part broken or should I just replace the whole starter ?

My bike starts up fine for a couple seconds then turns off, then hit the ignition and makes a clicking noise. And the battery was just charged. What could it be?

So I bought a new starter relay but I get multiple clicks no turn over. I jumped started it and it starts up if I take the cables off it'll turn off after 1 minute. I have anew battery also and it started the first time but now it won't start at all....

Walter V you have a charging issue. Rectifier or stator. Or loose connection from those two areas

When I turn my key and press the start button, i get nothing, no sound, no anything. Just lights and horn. However, when I put a wire from hot to starter and "hotwire it" it cranks up. Why wont that button make any noise or anything?

Seabreeze Rides you need a new battery. Your old battery is worn out it doesn't have enough cranking amps.

I got a big problem when I was trying to turn on my bike it's turn the fuel pump normally and the light , as soon as I press there start button the do a click and everything turns off......I check the battery it has voltage I'm thinking it's the relay but now it does not even turn the light on, ...I left the key turn on and it turn the fuel pump like 30second latter

lostone4711 yes I found it was the batery... it was dying when I use the multimeter on the batery it say 12v.... but as soon as I press the start button it when down to 2v..... check the batery.......if that not it take a screw driver and tosh positive and negative ( with the key on)....on the main relay if it's starts the problem can be the main relay or starter relay depending how you called

Sometimes there is a main relay or main body fuse on some bikes. This relay or fuse may have gone bad. (Not the starter solenoid.) Do your lights turn on when you turn the key?
