Thank you, now I am able to order the part I need to keep my Shark working at full capacity. What a relief. Thanks so much for this informative video.

Hello, at 06:34, what screws are these? I'm putting it back together after repairing, and literally none of the screws I've taken out fit back into these 2 slots. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Brilliant video but I'm having trouble separating the main roller / motor section its almost like its glued! I have taken every screw out but no joy? looks identical but model NZ801UK40 Left hand side free but motor / small roller catch not releasing Cheers

Hi, yeah they can be difficult sometimes, if all screws are out then I would usually use a screwdriver or similar under the motor and against the back placstic at the back(maybe place a cloth to prevent any damage to the plastics) and gently try to lift it up slightly, that usually helps break the seal,

Hi Adam, I have one of these and the front orange/red brush the clear plastic has snapped on one side and has chewed both parts of the brush male and female parts. Is it possible to get both parts?

No you can’t unfortuanetly, you have to be very careful with sharks not to bash them along skirting boards etc because they start to fall apart then

was thinking of buying one of these as my Dyson hoover has died. Think will buy another dyson if this is what it takes to change a belt.

That’s your decision, but to change a belt you wouldn’t need to take it all apart, removing top cover and removing screws to the clear plastic housing is all you need to do, the rest of the video wouldn’t apply to just a belt change.
It’s great you are looking at how to repair a vacuum before purchasing, but if all is swaying you to a dyson is a belt change then I would also see about a main motor change difference, much much easier in a Shark, Miele or Vax, dyson are way more time consuming but that’s just my opinion, many love dysons .
