To understand The Equalizer 2, you have to see The Equalizer 1. Both movies are fantastic. This is Denzel's "Action Hero" franchise. He paired up with Antoine Fuqoa the director of hits like Training Day, The Replacement Killers, Brooklyn's Finest, Olympus Has Fallen and many more. It was Antoine's idea to make a franchise for Denzel. This is loosely based of the 80's TV show The Equalizer.
Former CIA wetwork agent (he killed ppl) but decided to lead a normal life, or attempt to. Now he assists the downtrodden, watch both films they are pretty good
Not true, the fighting style He used was a Navy Seal Combat training, notice the guys attack one by one, that made it easier. The Navy Seal stunt man on set, who trained Mr. Washington, showed how easy it is to take out 5 attackers.....
Keith Woulard was the ex Navy Seal on the first film and you could see a lot of his influence in that film. He was busy while they were filming the second one so the fights are kind of martial artsy but still entertaining tho
Y’all should watch both movies cuz they are both great 👍🏽... Denzel is a former CIA operative that’s why he can kick ass like he does in such a precise manner
Not a CIA Operative - he's a former Marine attached to the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency). The main difference between the two agencies is: CIA conducts foreign undercover ops, collects info relevant to US national security, and compiles all that info in a package that the President and his Cabinet can use in the decision making process for actions related to national security. DIA is entirely military based intel on foreign MILINT, troop strength, movement, strengths, weakness, diplomatic and policy changes. They're more autonomous than the CIA and act directly under the Department of Defense. It's very high level - and typically provides all the info elite units like MARSOC and SEAL use for mission planning.
they are terrible. cant believe she also thought he was sexualizing her. Like this an A lister, the movie is not going to be about the most badass black lead in cinema being a predator.
He stands up for what's right he gets equal with people who do wrong and he has OCD so things like the stop watch and scanning a room and his character is military and government operations trained
Both Equalizer movies are based on the 1980's TV show with the same plot. An ex-CIA operative roams the streets helping good and decent people (who have been wronged) by leveraging his espionage and wetwork skills. This is why Denzel Washington's character appears almost invincible and one step ahead of the bad guys in each movie. The reason he "times" his actions is because efficiency is critical in the spy game.
it is very possible to take on four people by yourself, however there are a lot of variables you have to take in to account. They are on cocaine which means that you can't just hurt them with punches and kicks. Their sense of pain is deadened therefore you need to be more violent to accomplish what you are intending to do whether that be either kill them or subdue them. you'll notice though that most of the people in that fight were left alive other than maybe the guy with the broken neck lol. He did that by breaking and dislocating shoulders, elbows and knees. The one guy he blew out his ACL, then broke his neck. and notice how he didn't just take all four on at the same time he went through them one at a time. It is very possible to do what he did, however it takes years of practice and understanding of how your own body works. Fighting is more than just punching and kicking, it's knowing where to hit, while also taking in your own ability of stamina, strength, lung capacity, and understanding of anatomy. also the guy that got his neck broke is probably the guy that was on cocaine therefore it would be much harder to stop him due to him not being as sensitive to pain. Although a broken neck is hard to not notice unless you're on LSD or something, but at that point you lose completely control of your mind anyway lol.
He times it because it's a form of organization. It's how he was trained. I guess some people see it as a form of OCD too. Same with when you looks around the room
Would you rather them know every single thing that will happen in the video? No it's w reaction video. They are clwarching it because they either never seen it or don't remember it. Gtfo if you just hating I'm here to put you in your place.
Denzel in the interview describe his character as O C D so him setting his watch reading the area . He's trying to figure out what he's going to do first and who he's going to go after first and what he's going to use first what he's going to do things in that order . in the military they want things done with a certain amount of time he has this military mind frame so every time he do something he always times himself doing it . This is a happit that most O C D have .
Gotta correct you on something. You said there’s no way someone could take on 4 guys. Dude, with the right amount of training and hard work in combat, martial arts or whatever fighting style, someone could easily take 4 guys.
You should really watch The Equalizer first, and then The Equalizer 2. Both are excellent. Highly trained people (CIA, Navy Seals etc) absolutely could do this to untrained gym warriors, who think they're badass.
a martial artist/combat specialist could easily take 4 guys alone... Donnie yen sent 8 guys to the hospital by himself for harassing his girl in real life.
(They all drugged and raped her )this movie 2nd in the series was based on a CBS tv show starring a British white guy in a trench coat who helped regular people get justice
She must be a REAL nightmare to watch a movie with!!!!!! Instead of watching the movie, she want someone to tell her about it first. In the middle of watching it. That has to be hugely annoying....
How do you know? For a person trained to cripple and kill. To pinpoint every opportunity to execute everyone in the room, yes four people can be pit down. Shit A regular person can do it if pumped up enough. Happens more than times u think
It's called equalizer. He helps the powerless stand against the powerful. Watch part one then part two. It's epic.
That need to have a crossover movie,”The Equalizer meets John Wick.”
No bad guy would stand a chance 😂
@@spluddrott the world can not handle such badassery
I can’t believe they haven’t done this yet!!!
And Jack reacher

unclerobin he was also in the military
didn't the russians invent the whole ''wet'' for blood ordeal xD?
He's was a E6 in the core.
From what I read online, it said he was a former Marine and DIA operative, idk, which is true
Equalizer stands up for people who are in trouble an when justice ain't served
When the clip ended, and Ashtyn already got sucked into the scene: "Nooooooo!" Priceless.

I mean it's a john wick style movie.
The Euualizer is about standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves and taking action that's what's he all about.
Y’all should watch both movies cuz they are both great 👍🏽... Denzel is a former CIA operative that’s why he can kick ass like he does in such a precise manner

I dreamt Ashtyn was flying down a hill in a shopping trolly at night with her hair on fire, I suddenly woke up thinking WTF was THAT 😳😂

2:51 He was a prior CIA agent. Now he's not so yes is trying to kick ass lol!
You do have to watch this movie. There are some really powerful scenes completely carried by Denzel.
Good honest reactions,-Ernie Moore Jr.

If you wanna see a really good Denzel Washington scene. Watch him interrogate a crooked cop under a bridge in the movie Man on Fire.

Being ex military has nothing to do with fighting like that or even hand to hand combat...
Denzel is a vigilante
It's basically a black dexter
