When we last saw Beth, she had just shot Rio as he was beating up Agent Turner. Now that he's out of the picture, she's ready to run the game and stay in control. The women take on seemingly innocent jobs - Beth in a stationary store, Ruby in a nail salon and Annie as a valet - each with a special purpose to aid them in their new criminal enterprise. What happens as they expand their operation will have a ripple effect with their families. Meanwhile, Stan's taken a job in security at a strip club and Dean is working sales at a spa company. From Executive Producer Jenna Bans ("Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal") comes the third season of this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little "Thelma & Louise" with a bit of "Breaking Bad." @Jorden Elise remember when Beth was making the fake money Rio touched one of the sheets and she told him not to bc it was still wet. By touching it, he left his finger pint on the fake money. Beth kept the original and gave rio a copy. Now she can hold the fake money over his head the same way rio is holding the gun over her head.

What is so crazy about this scene is that Rio is always the one to get up and walk away and leave her pondering, wondering or worried about what ever he just laid on her. She finally had the upper hand and was able to get up and leave him pondering, wondering and maybe even worried because she laid something on him.......my my how the tables have turned. For now anyway!!!! 😆😆
Been wanting her to get up and do the walking away since their first interactions, since he's always, over than in her bedroom, been the one to walk away. Makes her look a little less pathetic.

Very true but it was Beth who put Rio in his place when he tried to offer her the world and something more. She then tried to shoot him well did anyway and all mainly cause the car scene where he said it's all business now. He was done messing with messy feelings she had with Dean as he offered her his kingdom and more. She is constantly trying to rob him burn him and kill him meanwhile he still doing business with her and laying eyes on her.

I know this is old but had to reply, viewers said they're a toxic relationship, but technically they're in a work relationship based on the job and the job is crime, so what do ya think it should be like? When he was physically involved with her and slowly trusted her, he was very sweet, but again he's still a gang member crime boss...you saw how he was once that dynamic changed he was very respectful, Beth did alot of cold ish based on her fear...

I think people fail to realize a few things. One is They want us to see Beth is just a mom making these decisons with her other mom friends for her family and boredom. Rio is also a dad and has to make decisions also. If Rio let Lucy or the many other mistakes Beth made go where would Beth be? She would he in prison. But they want you to think Rio is so bad and Beth is just a Mom making tough decisons. They need to stop with that. Rio constantly bailing out all her bad decisions and still he sticks around her. Oh so Rio murdered someone but if he didn't where would Beth be and The others too? That's right in Prison. Beth is always doing things and telling people and involving those she should not putting not only herself but her sister best friend and Rio in danger. Someone has to clean that up. That someone is Rio so Beth can pretend to be a goody 2 shoes. At the end of the day Rio does what he must to protect himself his son and Beth many times over. The show needs to start having that acknowledged

Rio never once tried to kill her or even mentioned or hinted at it until she did that to him. Even still then if he wanted her dead she would be. Dean had it right he has no plans to kill her. Because of her games though she is putting her best friend and sister in danger. Shes hiring hitmen what is Rio supposed to do? He loves this side of her of course minus the murder plots. I love the empowering of the women but I think they are forgetting why fans like Rio and or Brio. Who is going to let Beth live her dream and clean up all her messes to keep her home with her family and playing whatever with Deanie? Only Rio. Why must he be the scary bad guy?, Any man should Fear Beth cause if she gets jelly she might have you murdered.

No matter what he has done for her she us always trying to kill him or only sees her own side.
Hope that's right. I know he has good reason, considering she shot him and still wants him dead, but seems as if they're only letting us see a hateful side to him now. Really enjoyed it when they made him more dimensional.

He was so impressed...that's why his loyalty was with Beth, she had ish wit her, but she delivered and survived and that's why he said in Season 2 and gave her everything, she could be something, she just wasn't ready for it, she wanted to be the boss. He saw her greatness, that's never toxic.

For real? Anyway, in case it really did... Rio made Beth touch the gun that was used to kill Lucy, and he's been using that as "incentive" for her to do what he asks. He's been called to give a statement to the police and the implication this episode is that he's gonna frame Beth because the gun has her fingerprints. Now Beth has Rio's fingerprint in the fake money from when he touched it while it was still wet. So now she also has his fingerprint that makes him look guilty in something she's doing herself. So yeah

The dynamic is simple. They’re in love but it’s unrequited.
Beth is all about “image” and she knows to really be with Rio that would flip her entire World upside down and her kids...cause let’s face it how’s THAT for a blended family? And that is why she’s acting like she hates him. She can only save one life and she’s choosing her marriage and kids, as bland as it all is to her. Beth knows by now he aint pullin no trigger on her.
On the flip side, Rio knows that she’s the type to stay in the image of her little suburban lifestyle; which is why I think he’s doing all this extra brooding and messiness because he’s trying to push her and force her to make a choice. Buuttt, I also think he’s heartbroken about them not having a baby (notice his attitude has really changed). I think he would’ve gotten over her shooting him, but idt it’ll be AS easy for him to know they won’t even have a shot at being a family because...duh, he’s in love with her. And I think that and the fact she basically hit it & quit it will come up at some point.
At least I hope so cause I need that “i love you Elizabeth” jaw dropping yelling and jumping up and down alone in my living room moment 😭

if you haven't seen it yet, this is what happened.
Remember how Rio shot and killed Beth's coworker (forgot her name) last season and had Beth put her fingerprints on the gun? He was using it as leverage. Then the body of Beth's coworker was discovered and Rio was scheduled for questioning by the police, he implied that he would betray her and supply the police with the gun that had Beth's fingerprints on it, making it seem like Beth was the one who murdered her coworker and not Rio. Then later in the episode, Rio visits her and touches cash that was still wet, smudging the ink and putting a obvious fingerprint on the paper.
To ensure that Rio doesn't talk to the police about the gun, she gives Rio a copy of the paper that he touched with the clear fingerprint (in this video), implying that if she went down, she would take him with her.
I don’t really get what happened in this scene tbh. Like what does that money with the fingerprint mean?
He has her finger prints on the gun he killed Lucy with, basically to have the upper hand with her and now she has his prints from the fake money he decided to touch, and idk if I should say she has the upper hand or it’s more like, they’re kinda even now.
