Almost every Jinjer - Pieces reaction I've watched (and it's been a lot) people ALWAYS pause right before the drop. Seeing their reaction when she lights up the full harsh vocals is always the best thing ever.
I prefer Who Is Gonna Be The One (Live) | Napalm Records because it is the first song in their set. Perennial at Wacken is the last song and, though an amazing performance, she is absolutely gassed since its their last song of the performance. I just don't think it is their best live representation - but you really can't go wrong with anything by Jinjer anyway!

Jinjer has a lot of epic songs. The band is from Eastern Ukraine. Tatiana is a world-class growler. They use a Jazz fondation for many of their songs, but every song is very different, and they never get boring.

My band had the privilege of supporting Jinjer at the Flapper in Birmingham in about 2017 or 2018. They were amazing live and also all really nice people to chat to before the show. One of the best gigs I've played.

I actually went to one of their concerts and my daughter was worried sick about me and waited at my house until I got home. She now knows what us parents go through. I'm trying to get her to go to a show with me.
I went to the studio version to see what the hubbub was all about. It just sounded like a screamo dude and a soft voiced lady. It wasn't until I watched the live session that I realized they were one in the same. Tatiana is incredible!

I am 42 years old, big metal head, grew up with Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Slayer, etc, and i really wasn't interested in any newer bands, until i heard Jinjer, about 3 years ago, since then, they have become one of my favorite bands, they are up there with Pantera imo, who is my all time favorite, and its not just Tatiana (lead vocalist), the band is absolutely one of the best bands iv ever heard, they are also pretty groovy, similar to pantera is that way. Saw Jinger live a few months back, was in the 1st row, they are amazing live, and Tatiana is just amazing is every way lol😍

Had to sub, champ. Your reactions are golden. Love the fact that you - as a hip hopper/rap fan - have become somewhat entranced with what metal sometimes has to offer. Metal is *not* merely organized noise.
I read somewhere that this is an actual live, in studio performance that was meant in part to showcase their excellent (former) drummer, but Tatiana and her vocal performance stole the show and created, or added to, a little friction between him and the rest of the band. The way she flawlessly switches back and forth from hauntingly beautiful to agressive growling vocals really is pretty impressive and amazing.
Jinjer is awesome. Their catalogue is absolutely brimming with bangers. Check out their live performance of 'Perennial' at the Waken festival though, it highlights Tatiana's vocals well, and the official video of 'Teacher, Teacher' (using clips from different concerts) is killer! But my favourite is actually from an Australian band (Twelve Foot Ninja) that had Tatiana sharing the lead vocals with Kin Etic. The song is 'Over and Out' and the video will have you trippin' balls!

Had to sub, champ. Your reactions are golden. Love the fact that you - as a hip hopper/rap fan - have become somewhat entranced with what metal sometimes has to offer. Metal is *not* merely organized noise.
I read somewhere that this is an actual live, in studio performance that was meant in part to showcase their excellent (former) drummer, but Tatiana and her vocal performance stole the show and created, or added to, a little friction between him and the rest of the band. The way she flawlessly switches back and forth from hauntingly beautiful to agressive growling vocals really is pretty impressive and amazing.
Jinjer is awesome. Their catalogue is absolutely brimming with bangers. Check out their live performance of 'Perennial' at the Waken festival though, it highlights Tatiana's vocals well, and the official video of 'Teacher, Teacher' (using clips from different concerts) is killer!
But my favourite is actually from an Australian band (Twelve Foot Ninja) that had Tatiana sharing the lead vocals with Kin Etic. The song is 'Over and Out' and the video will have you trippin' balls!
