A late reply for anyone searching same problem. I have two VTR300, both were showing rotor faults. In my case it was a simple change of the reed switch. Every time the drum spins a magnet passes the reed switch and switches it closed. After 1000's of cycles the reed switch develops high contact resistance and becomes intermittent which confuses the controller sending it into fault mode. It is a 10 minute procedure to swap. You will get little help from System Air in identifying a replacement part, so this is part I used which comes in the same plastic housing with same lock screws. Set the gap 5-10mm. Gentech PS811 which I bought from Farnell (part number1006787). About £15. Now running fault free.

Når modellen har så tydelig svakhet som den har (naboen har også hatt alarm, du har, andre har), burde det ikke være mulig å lage en gruppesak og kreve at leverandør bytter anlegg til ny modell?
Hello, I also have a rotor alarm on my VTR 300/B. I did the same as you did in the video and it started working again. But I guess it will stop working soon?
In the video I showed that the rotor relay is faulty. When I tapped on it, the rotor started working. See my other video where I connected the relay using cables. Now it is very easy to change if something happens to the relay.
Hello Sten. This happens to me with the VR-400 DC version. Have not had any service man over yet but on phone he want to change the whole motor. What do you think? Anything i can do instead?

Hello! I have an old model of VTR 300/B. New model should have different type of electrical main board and it is probably more reliable. I have had this relay problem already two times. I would recommend this machine if you get new (latest) model.
Hi Sten, I see that you have done a lot of workaround with rotor motor and system air. I have issue with rotormotor making noise. Need your guidance and assistance. Is it possible to have a chat with this regards? Thanks in advance.
Hello! Noise problem can be probably fixed by changing capasitor of motor. I have ordered 10pcs. from Amazon and try to fix this problem soon. So as you see I have also noise problem now :) www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07PDS6CW1

@@archanaparmar9680 You have little bit different rotor motor, but the sound seems to be the same like mine. Try to change capasitor of the motor if you can. It would be cheaper solution for some time :). New motor could be over 100€. You need to clean the rotor surface and belt from dirt also. It reduces sound level as well.

I dont have this cover, the only way to make my ventilation system work is to turn the fuse off and on but still i have to do this alot
