It was also incredibly sloppy where I saw them in Gothenburg. Like, not even a few songs a set, but every song, in almost every section. Some blast issues too but mainly feet. I'm not saying this to speak ill of him, it just sucks that as a drummer I cannot not hear it, while some other people don't focus on it as much. If you've heard a song 100+ times you won't miss the mistakes for your instrument :( Same with shadow of intent and some other bands.
@@danielschnitzer7044 My gripe is moreso that I see lots of bands (not just archspire) write really tech-y stuff, and then the poor drummer can't handle it consistently live. I'm just of the opinion that songs should be written in such a way that they are able to be reproduced live. Now, maybe this was a "end of the tour" thing and in that case I understand. I see shows in Sweden which is whee people tend to go at the end tours, so.
Great intro 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Off night for Spencer eh? Those kicks are sloppy as hell. Dude is usually really tight.
Maybe. It was the second last show of the EU tour.
This was like right at the end of their tour. Dude was probably already exhausted from a month of playing this stuff every day

By the way, Spence is 40 years old on top of that. Him being able to still play that tight after a month is really impressive
