Just because it's technical, doesn't mean you need to sit down to listen to it. Sometimes, music like this or from Spawn of Possession, Necrophagist, Origin, Spastic, the technicality is like understanding a language fluently. That talent goes under appreciated when the listener can't fathom what's going on and feel more comfortable listening to Dixie Chix. Archspire brings it just the same live as they do on record.

This band really is something special.....and amazing live. I'm so glad they are now a headlining act. Oli does things no other known death metal vocalist can do. For a band that is this technical, they sure are great song writers too.

True. Braindrill would be good example for such statement. Technical but random garbage. Archspire is catchy and melodic. Technical and excellent.
