@VZMkII I seem to recall Beethoven being told something very similar in his time by folks of opinions that were too high-and-mighty for their own good...
looking at that box art. what kind of drugs were the designers on when they made up the game? I mean honestly. that stuff is so fucking cool looking yet weird.
Well yes, but it's the forgotten format because of the countless slandering to the game with technology changing the way it was was still in it's infancy, but as with every gaming information thing, they don't care about the hardware limitations or other associated issues that cause a game to look bad... If it was redone again today just imagine how much better it'll look because of that point where the PlayStation VR could truly make the experience more immense pleasure than it originally was
This wasn't the cover of the game on PS2.... this was released by Elite for Amstrad CPC/C64/ZX Spectrum etc around 1986/87...... on tape/disk.... Atari ST/Amiga version different..?
TBH, I like Sega in general with their selection. Sure, I may Nintendo’s arcades like Donkey Kong, Vs. Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Mario Bros., Vs. Ice Climbers, Vs. Dr. Mario, etc., and Nintendo’s home console games like Zelda, Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, Pokemon, and Mario, but Sega has a good variety on their library. On their arcade lists, I enjoy Space Harrier, Outrun, House of the Dead series, Sega Bass Fishing, Fantasy Zone, Crazy Taxi, Congo Bongo, Out Run, Super Hang-On!, Columns 2, Puyo Puyo, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, Jurassic Park, Project Diva, Virtua Fighter, Virtual On, Let’s Go series, etc., and as for home console, I enjoy Yakuza, Sonic, Space Channel 5, Valkyrie Chronicles, Alex Kidd, Vectorman series, Kid Chameleon, Comix Zone, Flicky, Phantasy Star series, The Ooze, etc
Have you played it and are you basing this off people who are saying it's crap without playing? If the latter then you should shut your damn trap and play it instead and understand that the technology used was in its infancy when it was redone for the PS2, so don't go slander a game without doing the maths
That dragon's like "HEY! Why d'ya shoot me in the face?"
xD lmao
Anyone listening to this in the amazing year four hundred billion?
This song sounds so exciting and triumphant. It's too bad I'll spend the whole time listening to it while crashing into trees.
"OOOOAAAAUGH!!!!" Proceeds to fly backwards in a slow motion overdramatic fashion.
On Sega's 3DAges collection here in the UK this is the only game on the disc that was still as awesome to place.
Love Space Harrier.
Welcome to MY Fantasy Zone

Mmmm but man ever since I heard this in Bayonetta I'm hooked!
now this is a kind of dance remix that ps2 has in mind about space harrier 1985 main theme. by sega of course.
this dance mix is different than the original FM version from the arcade which it was already epic.
@VZMkII I seem to recall Beethoven being told something very similar in his time by folks of opinions that were too high-and-mighty for their own good...
Get Ready! :D
@sblug2 This theme itself isn't on Genesis.
looking at that box art. what kind of drugs were the designers on when they made up the game? I mean honestly. that stuff is so fucking cool looking yet weird.
0:43 Nostalgia.
@cabbitsd
Superb reply.
@HogisGuy Find mame program to play space harrier 1(Old arcade one)
I believe that Planet Harriers could be considered "Space Harrier IV" :)
Nobody has the bosses songs?
@segamon Before that, it should be considered to be ported to other systems.
They don't make these kinda of awesome and cheesy music anymore... :(
sounds like Elecman's theme from megaman IMO
I love space harrier, and i bum this music.
Does anyone know if this Music was released to buy?
Well yes, but it's the forgotten format because of the countless slandering to the game with technology changing the way it was was still in it's infancy, but as with every gaming information thing, they don't care about the hardware limitations or other associated issues that cause a game to look bad... I remember when games weren't brown! They had colours.....so many colours.....
true

Nothing Beats race of ages remix from Sonic and allstars racing transformed
Me gustan las escenas del videojuego en que lo ataca los hongos del Rey Koopa, que unos de los jefes finales sea Devil Man y ¿Devil woman?.
I want.. mp3...
then............Space Harrier IV?
or at least a Space Harrier III would be nice
This wasn't the cover of the game on PS2.... this was released by Elite for Amstrad CPC/C64/ZX Spectrum etc around 1986/87...... on tape/disk.... Atari ST/Amiga version different..?
That's the cover for the pc engine port of the game.
I do not have any association with an old, balding Anthropologist. Roger Brown.
Why is the pic of the TG16/PCE version?
idk
Why does the cover say "PC Engine"?
Shulkamania - Running Wild Since 2011 maybe he used the wrong cover
the turbografx 16 was known as the pc engine in japan
i hope this helps you guy from 6 years ago
I like Sega game than nintendont

@@sonicexereaper6814 ngl idk if he will reply, you did reply to comment 3 years before your own

Nah. That's a magical moment!
I always read it as Don’t Stop
Oh..well.. thanks ^^ You make me even more embarrassed
Thanks ^^ No I didnt know. But yes you are right.
@sblug2 sms all the way best theme
Why?
NOOOOOO!! they killed the most epic theme ever :(
Now it sounds like some 90s TV Show :)
far far faaaaaar to call of duty >_
its awesome but it doesn't beat the original :P
Will Family Guy ever parody or reference Space Harrier? BTW, which Family Guy character would look good as Space Harrier?
Crap compared to the original.
Have you played it and are you basing this off people who are saying it's crap without playing? If the latter then you should shut your damn trap and play it instead and understand that the technology used was in its infancy when it was redone for the PS2, so don't go slander a game without doing the maths
@@Omnishredder - I think they meant the theme tune compared to the original rather than the game itself.
Too many unneeded notes. Original>this
Awful remix well suited to an awful remake.
I could twerk to any version of this song sir, ESPECIALLY this version
Welcome to the Fantasy Zone! Get ready!
