      @@doctube2020 correct me if I’m wrong but the way I read that is it only takes wires from the radio? Kinda lost how it calculates the information if your only tapping in that area? If you could write up and explain it better, their is a DIC at a pick n pull near me and if I can get a good idea around this I wanna do this Addon!

      I guess other than those you have the one wire that goes into the purple or pink wire on your odb2 port? That all it takes to work? I am doing it to a 1998 so how do I hook it up to the fuel sender?

      @angryamericanmodding9770 Delco radios of this generation have SCV Speed Compensated Volume feature. The volume automatically turns down when slowing down and volume turns up when speeding up. You should see SCV printed on your radio by the volume knob. You are tapping into this wire for the speed info so the DIC can calculate mpg and gallons used data. Trucks built before mid to late 1998 will display nothing for miles to empty due to no wireing from fuel pump to ECM to calculate that data.
