My take on this episode, with a few tweaks, this could've been an entire Nightshade episode instead of mostly Twitch and a bit Nightshade. It's clear the development crew wants to focus more on Nightshade's intelligent and cleverness overall. So, Nightshade helping their siblings out would seem more like their character. They strike me more of the type to think more outside-the-box than Twitch whom would think like that less frequently. It's shown a bit in season 2 how the Maltos sometimes rely on Nightshade's inventions, so I would've thought the siblings would be turning to them for help. And then Nightshade would take initiative after being asked so then they wouldn't look like the evil one by meddling technically without consent, plus they don't seem as assertive as Twitch with her aid. And about that ending message -- YOU ARE SO LUCKY!! I've always wanted to meet the VA of my overall favorite transformer.
@@AutobotSonicTheTelltaleGamer I think the lesson was supposed to be, "You shouldn't rely on one person too much, and that reliable people need someone to rely on themselves". This was even hinted at the beginning of the episode where they all ask Twitch to help her solve their puzzle whatchamacallits. I realize now it could've been executed better, I mean aside from Robby and Mo, none of the Maltos asked Twitch for help, as she just jumped in, and that kind of makes her undeserving of feeling responsible for all of them being restrained as rides. On the other hand, that BS came from Fairmatestro. Make of that what you will.
While I was in the live chat, I still wanna leave a comment. As human villains go Fairmaestro is ok but I hope it's last time we see him. Humans villains are rarely done well in Transformers let's be honest. Glad that I'm not the only one who noticed Thrash being more of a coward. While in s1 he was a bit of scaredy-cat but he wasn't that cautious or scared. Idk why writers chose cowardice as his main character trait. I like the message that others shouldn't over rely on Twitch but I didn't like that writers dumb down others to get that point across. The message from Nightshade! I still can't believe it. I wasn't expecting that. It's just so cool. Can't wait for the review of the next episode.
Ugh... My opinions on the episode, I'm very very mixed. Last time, I said this was my least favorite episode from Season 3, well that kind of changed sort of. Let's get the elephant out of the room, this episode is the return of Fairmaestro. One of, if not the most annoying, boring and uninteresting human villain in all of Transformers. He's not a villain I like to hate, he's a villain I really hate. His voice is boring (No offense to the voice actor), his motives are, eh...? I just hate this guy. Also, he's a complete dumbass. He locked Robby and Mo, in a box, a box with controls that speed up the ride, and manage to break them free. If you want these kids out of the way, then don't give them anything to work with! Also, you were about to kidnap the 7 Malto kids? If Dot realizes none of her kids are home, death is gonna be knocking down your tent, and no smoke bombs are gonna save you! Also, can I just rant how the smoke bombs teleporting stuff makes 0 sense to me? I know it's a cartoon, but it just makes no sense to me. I really. really hope this is the last we've seen of him. Another complaint, and this is going for Seasons after Season 1, but why is Thrash suddenly the cowardly and cautious of the group? Season 1 portrayed him as this fun-loving, carefree, rebellion kid, but since Season 2, he's all of a suddenly the nervous and cautious one. I know a year has passed, so something could've changed him to act like this, but the show never explains! I'll admit though, this time he had every right to be worried. Suspicious cards inviting you to an abandoned warehouse, and none of them, even Twitch are suspicious about them? Why did they never tell their parents where they were going? Or that Fair-Mustard was holding them hostage, I'm more than confident that this whole event could've been avoided. But... I do have one big positive. and that's the whole thing of the Maltos relying on Twitch too much. This is a lesson to tell, how you shouldn't always rely on the most reliable person and that person can also rely on their friends and doesn't need to do everything for them. It's like what Gus Porter said on The Owl House. "Reliable people need someone to rely on too" I think that's a great lesson to tell. Unfortunately, everything else drags the episode down for me. Unbiased, I'd give the episode a 6/10 But if I was biased in which I hate Fair-Mustard, I give it a 4/10 I know I haven't been positive for Ep 2 and 3, but I swear, this is the last weak episode, at least in my opinion. The rest of them are very good!
The Malto children in this episode: 😱
Dot and Alex off-screen in this episode: 🕺💃👨🏽🍳😴

Agreed. Transformers human villians are something bots and cons both need to deal with
