I did this however the warning light stayed on. Plus I have no cruise control. I've checked all fuses & relays. What should I do next 2 correct this issue?
+Joshua Jordan yes it is always a good idea to disconnect power to the air bag system before repairs are preformed. once repair is done the code will clear
so black tape is a no no lol so i saw black tape on the wire you repaired so what gives..and i suppose a person that cant figure out that the part that is yellow indacates its a air bag connector prolly should NOT be working on cars....lol...it would have been nice to see the bad repair up close....but thanks for the vid....and i would not get caught up in the color of the tape...lol..but to each his own..lol.

Are these wires energized when the car is off?
No they aren’t after the module powers down. But it’s a good idea to unhook the battery before doing.
@@mastertech5241 thanks for the reply, I agree. It is always good practice but I noticed in the TSB from GM it does not say to disconnect the battery.
I have the same code should. I disconnect the battery before proceeding. With the fault reset by itself after a period of time?
