    Mount Kinabalu Hiking Trip 2024

    Altitude: 4095m above sea level
    Hike duration: 2D1N

    Day 1 gear:
    - Raincoat
    - Drifit T-shirt
    - Hiking pants
    - Hiking boots (high cut)
    - Long socks
    - Hiking poles (2)
    - Hiking bag (20L)
    - Hiking hat
    - Raincover for bag
    - 4L water (3L water bag + 1L water bottle)
    - Snacks
    - Packed lunch
    - Sunscreen
    - Insect repellent
    - Tissues/Wet wipes
    - Sunglasses
    - Spare socks
    - Medication
    - Valuables
    Day 2 gear:
    - Fleece/winter jacket (outermost layer)
    - Sweatshirt (middle layer)
    - Top and bottom thermals (innermost layer)
    - Beanie
    - Scarf
    - Gloves
    - Headtorch
    - Handtorch
    - All other stuff same as Day 1

    Come back again to try Ferrara route… it’s more challenging, basically ferrata route is a protected mountain pathway consisting of a series of rungs, rails, cables and bridges embracing the rock face. Be bold Be fearless 💪

    2nd part hitting peak hiking pole is not necessary because the trail is so rocky… very exhausting physically but it’s all worth it when you catch the 1st glimpse of sunrise 💪
