My sister told me that the only thing that really bothered her about being pregnant was when strangers would touch her without her permission and/or before she gave or denied it. When my brother-in-law was around, people were cool, but when she was by herself, it was open season. Creeps.

When I was pregnant with my first, a lady approached me at Starbucks and started talking to me about my pregnant belly and how much she loves babies. So after she ordered coffee, I ordered and the barista said “oh the lady before you already paid for your coffee”. It was so nice. She made my day. Just a cup of coffee really made my day and I still appreciate her for it. It was my due date too, so I was very nervous.

What's weird is that many friends during prwgnancy have had guys come up to them and actually hardcore flirt, and ask them out. There are some guys that for some reason get really interested in someone when they're pregnant.

Unless she's smoking or drinking alcohol, I have honestly never given a pregnant woman a second look. Like, who cares if someone is pregnant? Then again, I worked at a women's hospital for years, so I saw a lot of pregnant women (and a shocking number of them were lighting up cigarettes on the sidewalk outside, those "ladies" I did glare at)

As somebody who had a baby 6 months ago.. pregnancy is absolutely breathtaking, and you can never wrap your head around it. However, other people are insane when it comes to others pregnancies. I've had people shame me, and also try to control my pregnancy. The only good thing about pregnancy is the gift you bring to the world

it is important to wear the belt part of your seatbelt across your hips. The shoulder part goes over your chest and shoulder. If your seatbelt is on your stomach, a car crash can cause severe internal damage. If you are pregnant, the impact can literally force the baby out. Just for anyone who didn't know!

New parents spend a lot of time at the doctor. A baby's growth under 2 years is so rapid and changes so quickly, they measure it by months. So having a child that is 18 months is really different than one that is 22 months. So when someone asks how old your baby is, you tell them months and that gives a lot of specific information about exactly how your child is. Usually parents talk with other parents, so this is normal nomenclature.

When I was younger I asked myself all the time why Mums always say "My baby is 21 months old" . But since I'm a godmother I finally understood. Children learn so much in just one month. You can't call a 10 months baby 1year because it can't walk. Most of the time it barely even stands. With one year modt of the babies can walk.
I walked at 9 months old and she didn't say her baby was ten month... She said 21 months. "She'll be 2 in three months," would be far less douchy. Or just say almost two.

Kristin and her aunt don't seem that far apart in age to me and they also look a little alike as well. I would guess that's why they have such a close bond. If they were not so close in age and shared a similar physical appearance I wonder if they'd have that close of a relationship.

The reason why parents say my child is 15 months vs just 1 yr old is because a 12 month old and a 15 month old are very different. They are both 1 yr but they are in different milestones spots within the first yr.

I had all of this when I was pregnant. You felt like you had to watch what you ate around people or how much you ate and people would just stare at you and if you dared carry anything other than your handbag people would be like oh I'll carry that... it's like being a child again even if you are carrying your own child 😂
lol i was 8 months pregnant with my 2nd (my first was just turning 1) and i had to carry a brand new in box crib and toddler bed to my apartment alone 3 or 4 men passed me and another with his wife noone offered to help i was literally dying struggling too :/ my boyfriend is also horrible about it he always makes me carry everything i buy a case of bottled water he tells me hes not carrying my water in the house for me im building alot of muscle carrying a child 10 bags of groceries and holding my toddlers hand up 2 flights of stairs though lol

amber wagner Wow! I'm a married man and I won't pass my wife without asking if she needs her glass refilled or if she wants anything I could get her while I'm moving around the house. I have to ask her not to try carrying so many bags of groceries at once. Having a Grandmother that has snapped tendons in her hands by stressing her fingers, It scares me to see her overload her hands with those plastic bags that almost cut into the hands. She thinks it's fine, but causing damage to your hand is easy, and it's always better to make two trips than to overdo it. None of this is for the reasons many people may think. It's simple really. If someone male or female is struggling and you're not, see if they need help. If you're going to the kitchen, it's just a nice thing to do to fill the other persons glass. It's the little things that show you care and that you're thinking about the other person. Carrying our bottled water in is simply a matter of me being the physically larger and stronger person. Even a modest amount of weight can cause an injury to your back, and our stairs and sidewalk from the car to the house are awkward enough to instigate an accidental injury. By no means is she forbidden to do anything, but I'm not going to stand idle when I can help either. When I broke my leg a few years back I could count on her to bring things to me if I needed them, and that's partly because in normal life she knows I'll do it for her. Give and you shall receive I suppose. I do think that a pregnant woman shouldn't be doing some things if it is needlessly risking her or the baby's health, but for little things people need to realize that she's pregnant, not incapable.

I've been binge watching you guys for the past week. Y'all keep me entertained! I have an almost 2 year old and worked throughout my entire pregnancy. I'm a music teacher at a private school and taught pre-k - 12th. There are absolutely no boundaries when you work with little ones. The belly was touched ALL THE TIME. I'd even have some of my Jr. High boys just reach out in the hallways as I passed to rub the baby bump. Pregnancy is a beautiful yet a weird thing.

My pregnancies were so miserable. Barfing 30x a day due to HG, in and out of the hospital, unable to walk towards the end because of SPD. Such a glamorous time 😂 thankfully I did get 2 super awesome kids out of the deal though ❤️👨👩👧👦

In high school we wore 8 month, just about to pop bellies (we also did the babies) and god did my back hurt, they filled it with warm water so it felt real and was actually heavy like you were pregnant and it had this ball thing that moved it was strangely comforting, and once you take it off you have no where to put your hands, because you naturally just rest them on it.
