Well done. Btw when will you finish the machine? 2030?

Hahaha ya, it feels like that! I'm working on the reassembly now. I was still busy with getting all of the gears and components 3D modeled, but one of the more complex assemblies is on my table ready for filler, primer, and paint already. Hopefully I can have that done and a video out for it by the end of the week :)

Did you consider spraying the enamel? I would think it would give a smoother and more consistent finish. I find enamel paint takes a good couple weeks to fully cure.

Spraying would be nice, but I'm not really set up for it and rattle cans get expensive when considering how much paint I need. It would provide much better finish though.

I’m restoring my grandfathers LeBlond regal 15”. Do you happen to have a clear file of the change gear box plate so I could make a new badge myself?

I'm just now going back through some old comments. If you're still looking for this, send me an email and I'll get the files to you.
