and gabriel was pretty smart giving him such an impossible question.

V2 is labelled as V1, which implies V1 is hallucinating from the overheat the question caused him. That's why V2 only says "weee", the very same word V1 says at the end.

you perceive V1 to not be smart, but that doesn't prevent him from being what he is

assuming V1 doesn't turn out to be piloted by god or something and is just a machine it probably has some very smart narrow AI, so it is very very good at what it does (murder) but can't do much else. This makes the most sense to me because any more advanced AI would see how self-destructive killing your entire fuel source twice is
Let's remember at one point v1 is going to be played by the sweatiest discord mod that literally knows everything in ultrakill

Gabriel set up the scenario of solving questions instead of fighting, and one of the questions was who asked. So technically Gabriel is the one who asked. They are questions that V1 was tasked with answering by Gabriel, that makes Gabriel the asker.

Imagine is due to the aftermath of V2 splatting across the ground thus causing his speech Module (or something) to be broken
Considering Exodus 20:13's Commendent is "to not murder", i think Gabriel's already went on his word the last time we saw him in a cutscene. (hint hint: killing the ENTIRE HEAVEN'S COUNCIL)

Something tells me that Gabriel didnt ask those questions for the sake of the challenge, but rather to just fry V1's AI effectivly immobilising it
I love how they can talk like they know the answers to 1 and 2 without actually having to tell us what it was.
For those curious, the answer is "your mom" to both. The first needs no explanation. The second references the meme "THEN WHO WAS PHONE!?" involving a story a man who is contacted by an unknown caller who claims they are calling about their daughter - the daughter, however, insists that her father is deceased. A question arises here - who was the person calling on the phone? to which the logical conclusion is, the daughter's mother, or if hypothetically spoken by the main character of the story to the daughter, "your mom".
The answer is Gabriel. If is not, i will comit a war crime

And so in that mixture, he finally provided the answer.

Ah yes, the third was a trick question. Gabriel asked V1 “Who Asked?” Without giving a proper explanation as to what was asked. So V1 completely overlooked the possibility of Gabriel being the one who asked, as Gabriel had asked the question without any form of context and/or limitations to what he was referring to in the first place.
The only person who asked anything in general: Gabriel.

It's a trap which goes to one another. If you're the thinker, and some idiots come along to ask you, that person becomes the next thinker, and so on. Similar to a cheese touch from Wimpy Kid. Gabriel started it, and V1 is the 1st victim, which he'll pass it onto V2, whereas V1 become free from the punishment, as the thinking was passed to V2, along with the punishment. Now, I wonder who will be next?

To answer the last question: "Who asked?" You have to look at the person and point to them, and if not them, then point to yourself, because you asked for the questions in the first place, meaning there's only 3 answers, yourself, them, or nobody.
Or just let me answer.

Well, from a logical perspective, when someone says "who asked?" They don't refer to the statement they want to. Viewed like that, the person who is now asking "who asked" is the person that asked since they just asked you who asked.

Maybe a simple answer that may not be the best, but is certainly not wrong to the question of "who asked" mmay just be "you". Since the person saying the question of "who asked" is basically asking a question, with the logic part that makes us people think about it slow, being the task to point to the one who asked a question, since it is extremely unusual to get the answer to a question, from the same question. Basically a roadblock that you can easily walk by, but can't since the logic turn to be made is quite sharp.
To put it short, I asked fuck logic I asked the end.
