She had a rare type of eye cancer as child, then as an adult developed both bladder and lung cancer- the surgery left her unable to speak. May she rest in peace.

I do like Chris Eubank. He knew he was gonna get teased and was up for it. He also speaks beautifully and articulately. A damned good boxer too and a true English eccentric.
I'm sure Chris's agent briefed him before he took the booking. Normally, he wouldn't go on these types of shows, but he was at the end of his career and needed the cash. It was the same with "They Thinks all Over".
As much as I adored Caroline Aherne/ Mrs Merton, I felt bad for Chris Eubank here. I don't think he realised this was a comedy chat show when he was booked, and the penny dropped and he felt humiliated. He looked so crestfallen! Some people don't appreciate this kind of humour and that's OK. Everyone is different.
One thing Eubank isn’t is stupid. He went in there thinking he could hold his own. Strutting around in his waistcoat wearing that monocle. Eubank always wore an air superiority. Unfortunately for him he found out that night he wasn’t nearly as clever as he thought he was 😂

Chris didn’t like like that lack of control but insisted to these chat shows were he would get completely opened up (around about that time) ! Not sure why the hosts did it as I admired Chris and his kookyness in those days. He seems a lot more assertive these days and still has so much to offer.
