This is a sort of honor to the Andrew Sisters who were 3 women who sand the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. That was made during WW2. Watch that video to see what I am talking about. I Love Lucy came out at least a decade and a half after that one did
The entirety of her Back to Basics album (this was from the B-side) was absolute perfection. Peak Christina. Back in the Day. Ain't No Other Man. Makes Me Wanna Pray. Slow Down Baby. On Our Way. Still Dirrty. ALL BOPS
@@robangel0816 see I think Save Me From Myself is her best. It’s super underrated because it doesn’t sound all that difficult but to sing that quietly and softly at that high pitch is extremely difficult because you generally need a lot of air to be moving to more easily hit those notes, but you can’t do that for that particular song. The difficulty of that song is just insane
Christina was hitting that E5 from a very young age & at 16 showcased the serious range she has in the song “reflections” from the movie Mulan. She is one of the best female vocalists EVER! In the beginning of her pop career they tried to keep her in that pretty little pop princess box with the likes of Britney, JessicaSimpson & Mandy Moore (who can also really sing) etc & Christina eventually said NOPE, not gonna be your cookie cutter Barbie doll anymore, & started belting it out & separated herself from the pack in a big way. Her in the movie Burlesque is perfection. She sings amazingly in that movie.
The first verse with the "3 Christinas" was her homage to the Andrew Sisters who had a huge hit during WWII called "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." The second verse was her homage to "Rosie The Riveter" that was used to recruit women to help out in the factories during WWII. This is from "Back To Basics" and was her tribute to music that was famous in the 1930s/1940s ... you should check out "Ain't No Other Man."
"Hope it's not like the movie" Oh, my man, you have no idea .. Honestly, this was a BANGER that nobody seems to remember. It's very bare bones (for her) with none of the electric instruments or backing tracks of most of her other works. It showcases how truly talented she is. There are not a lot of singers that could go that stripped down and still sound so good.
She is definitely a favorite. I listen to her when I want hear some soul, and Brittany when I need a pick up, like on the treadmill or when I’m cleaning the house
It doesn't have an official video but you need to listen to Christina Aguilera "Oh mother" it's such a sad song but her vocals in it are AMAZING. It's my favorite song by far! Another great one of her's is her song Fighter.
I was never a huge fan of hers, but she charmed me with this song and amazing video. She pulled off so many personalities of the ladies she portrayed in rhis video, I could tell she did her homework on this. Plus her homage to The Andrews Sisters and that era of wartime. She even introduced me to Campari, the Italian Spirit that was very popular of that time, and still holds true today. She did a great job!
Just saw a comment from @candicelitrenta8890 that was going to be my comment.. a tribute to the Andrew Sisters that were singing songs during WWII for our troops. I love this.. first time every hearing it.. but we all know Christina can bring it.
Great reaction! I love it! You should do more Xtina reactions! If you want to hear her *SANG*, then you should watch some live performances like the ones below: 1. At Last (Stripped Live in the UK) 2. Ain't No Other Man (MTV Movie Awards) 3. Makes Me Wanna Pray (Back to Basics Tour) 4. Contigo en la Distancia (Live My Reflection) 5. It's a Man's Man's Man's World (Live at the Grammy Awards) 6. A Song for You (Live on Ellen) 7. Merry Christmas Baby w/Dr John (Live My Reflection) 8. All Right Now (Live) 9. Something's Got a Hold on Me (Live on Ellen) 10. Walk Away (Live on David Letterman) 11. Stormy Weather (Live at Taking the Stage) 12. Bound to You (Live) 13. Lift Me Up (Live at Hope for Haiti) 14. Slow Down Baby (Back to Basics Tour) 15. I Loves you Porgy (Grammy Nomination Concert) Sorry, I couldn't stop at a 'Top 10' list ... there are way too many amazing Xtina performances to choose from! 😂
The video had an overall feel of the USO performances (now it's the AFE.) 7:29 the Jody call/military cadence is a real one popular in the 40s-50s though the exact words are more like "Mama and Papa was layin' in bed ( Mama and Papa was layin' in bed) Mama rolled over to papa she said (Mama rolled over to papa she said) Gimme some (Gimme some) PT (PT) Good for you (Good for you) Good for me (Good for me)" I use running cadences when I work out. Haha.
One of my favorite songs ever! Thank you for bringing it back on my radar! Talking of talent: have you ever heard Dan Vasc? He's got some serious talent and, even better: he's got the gift!
Hold a note longer than a relationship. Lmao. She has the best voice ever on the industry other than Celine Dion. Her voice is so unique. She was truly blessed.
You need to watch the movie Burlesque starring Christina Aguilera and Cher. Absolutely fabulous. Her singing and dancing are fabulous. Also, check out. Christina’s music video- Ain’t No Other Man.
Rosie the riveter...is the vibe.. but I have to say.. when I saw Candyman.. I thought it was going to be a take on Sammy Davis Jr's... The Candyman Can.. Lord .. My parents raised me on all kind of music...That I know this stuff is crazy.. I was raised on Elvis, Frankie, Sammy, Deano.. and pretty much everything from the 40's to the 70's... and my Pop-Pop raised me on Country music. I'm Hair Band Era.. I just love it all
Sorry but Brittany had nothing compared to Christina!! Rosie the Riveter is who you're thinking of. You should check out her MTV Music Awards performance of " Ain't No Other Man" from 2006. You're blown away by her studio song. Hearing her do the same thing live is next level. She can dance but with her voice she doesn't need to.
'She held that note longer than most people hold a relationship " 😂😂😂 ❤
This is a sort of honor to the Andrew Sisters who were 3 women who sand the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. That was made during WW2. Watch that video to see what I am talking about. I Love Lucy came out at least a decade and a half after that one did
The Andrew Sisters...They were Brilliant.
She didn’t even take a breath with that note, this is talent
If you want to see Christina dance you should watch Burlesque with Cher where she sings and dances!
Such a good movie :D
The entirety of her Back to Basics album (this was from the B-side) was absolute perfection. Peak Christina. Back in the Day. Ain't No Other Man. Makes Me Wanna Pray. Slow Down Baby. On Our Way. Still Dirrty. ALL BOPS
oh mother, hurt, mercy, save me from myself!
I came here to say the same thing! So good!
FACTS! Such an easy listen. Her voice is phenomenal. Also B2B has her song Mercy on me, which is her best vocal song to date, in my opinion
Sounds like I have some music to listen too
@@robangel0816 see I think Save Me From Myself is her best. "Rosie the Riveter" is the one pose.
Over all has "Andrew Sisters" vibe
She’s paying homage to The Andrew Sisters, in the WWII era. It’s brilliant. The girl was Rosie the Riveter.
Christina was hitting that E5 from a very young age & at 16 showcased the serious range she has in the song “reflections” from the movie Mulan. She is one of the best female vocalists EVER! A human can't look any better than she does in this video, especially in that blue outfit
The first verse with the "3 Christinas" was her homage to the Andrew Sisters who had a huge hit during WWII called "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." The second verse was her homage to "Rosie The Riveter" that was used to recruit women to help out in the factories during WWII.

The fact that she Capellas with herself is crazy. and damn that video is classy
She’s one of the few artists who sounds even better live. Check out some of her Back to Basics tour. She puts on a show.
Note longer than some relationships 😅😅😅
"Hope it's not like the movie" Oh, my man, you have no idea ..

Classic Christina ❤ I always felt she's one of the artists that inspired BlackPink. Hurt is one of my favorite vocals from her.
Christina came from The Mickey Mouse Club. All those kids were triple threat talents. Dance was required.
yep. Britney Justin Christina JC Tony RYAN GOSLING Kerri Russell...
I think she's inspired by the Andrews Sisters from WW2 in this one (Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy).
One of the best vocalists ever to grace this planet! Brittany just didn’t have the singing chops that Christina had/has.
She was a Disney kid, so she was well trained and would have of had to to have had talent young.
Please watch "Burlesque" Cristina sings and dances Amazing!
She is definitely a favorite. I listen to her when I want hear some soul, and Brittany when I need a pick up, like on the treadmill or when I’m cleaning the house
Thankyou so much for this reaction video it was awesome haven't listened to this song in years love it! ❤

She is THE QUEEN 👑 she is the best voice in the industry!

This is like The Andrews Sister in the 1940's - The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy

I think this is my favorite song of hers. So many peopel haven't even heard it though.

One of my favorite songs ever! Thank you for bringing it back on my radar! Talking of talent: have you ever heard Dan Vasc? He's got some serious talent and, even better: he's got the gift!
My favorite Aguilera song and video♥️👑🎼
The person she was dancing with is Benji Schwimmer fom So You Think You Can Dance if I remember correctly.
Hold a note longer than a relationship. Lmao. She has the best voice ever on the industry other than Celine Dion. Her voice is so unique. She was truly blessed.
Great reaction! Pls watch Christina Aguilera At Last Stripped Tour Live. She holds a similar note but longer and LIVE 🔥
Harmonising with yourself is boss moves
Love her ❤ her voice is incredible ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this. I had forgotten about this song. Its still catchy.
The “SEPARATION” is spot on. Talent recognizes talent, talk you shit AB! 👏 that’s why we stan!!
I love Christina and this song ❤😊
Burlesque Movie is a great soundtrack, and though not the best musical, her voice and her pretty good acting makes it a great listen and a good watch.
She can dance for sure. Check out Burlesque. It's a great movie with an epic soundtrack. I mean Christina and Cher????? Come on!!! It's great.
Xtina is a gem! This and the dirty era are timeless
You need to watch the movie Burlesque starring Christina Aguilera and Cher. Absolutely fabulous. Her singing and dancing are fabulous. Also, check out. Christina’s music video- Ain’t No Other Man.
The Back to Basics era was perfect! She has the best clearest voice ever! I love her since beginning! (Sorry if my English is not perfect)
WOW, missed this!? Fantastic!
you should react to fall in line by Christina and demi Lovato. that song is amazing, their vocals together is a pure masterpiece.
More Christina's reaction please ❤
Love this video!

You should watch her live performance off Ain’t No Other Man at the MTV movie awards in 2007 - she can sing live and move her ass at the same time!
I love her song Dirty
She is a beast bro
Hurt and Dirrty by her are amazing!
I have the 2 disc CD. It is all fire. Great reaction.
One of my faves
One of the absolute best sexiest videos of all time
That voice!
Please, please watch the movie Burlesque!!!!
You're also thinking about Rosie the Riverter. During WWII women were building airplanes. My mom worked for Douglas aircraft.
Christina is a very good dancer
look up the Andrew Sisters for CA's inspiration for this song/video, and then check out the late Amy Winehouse.
Christina's dancing was very underrated. The dancing credit usually went to Britney spears.
Have you heard her singing in Burlesque? Either I'm Bound or Show me how you Burlesque

The Star Sisters from the Netherlands are worth a watch if you like this. There a group from the 80's like the Andrew sisters from the 40's
Can see a definite tribute to swing/big band music.
Hurt by Christina is my favorite
Well Christina did start out on the Mickey Mouse club with Britney, Justin, Ryan Gosling and a few others.
There's a video on YT showing how they made this video with Christina
