Your work is simply stunning. You elevate these coloring pages to fine art.
Your coloring pages are so gorgeous. It’s such a joy seeing your work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Karen,
I’m always so amazed by how gorgeous your colorings are and how distinctively they are yours. You have such an unique style! And I appreciate how you present your finished coloring book pages without going on and on about every .last teeny tiny detail; some colorists would take twice as long to show the samez amounts of pages and I just want to see the finished pictures!"
😚🤌🏼 As usual. Simply... PERFECT! You should seriously consider creating your own coloring book someday. Thank you for your time and talent!
There are not enough adjectives to describe your artistic coloring. It is a joy to watch you color. You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing all your videos. ❤️☺️👍
Thank you so much 😀
Hi Karen. My favourite video of the month is seeing your finished pictures. Each and every one of them is a joy to see again as I watch your videos as you create them. Thank you for everything you do for us, I have learned a lot from you, not enough to reach your standards, but if anybody tells me something is like watching paint drying I get a silly grin because watching you colour is my favourite pastime. Lol.
Thank you so much!
I'ts always a pleasure to watch your completed pages, they're so beautiful!

Hi Karen 💖 It’s always such a treat to revisit your finished work, and so inspiring! Your talent is a gift for everyone who gets to watch you, because most colorists throw some color in their books and it’s beautiful, but not you, your pages are taken to the next level and should always be framed. I can’t choose a favorite, because I love everything you have done! Thank you so much! 💖💖💖
Hi Keni 💖 Thank you so much! You are so sweet! Hugs 💖💖💖
@@ZucchiniKitty Hi Karen 💖 You’re so welcome! You are really sweet yourself…lol. Did I ramble again, I think I did…I’m sorry, I just can’t seem to help myself…lol. Hugs 💖💖💖

Thank you so much!
I moved my Brut Macarons (which are dupes for the Holbein pastels) in with my Polychromos a while back, they are perfect, fill in all the colors I wish I had when using the Polys. I plan to replace them with Holbein as I use them up.
Everything you colored is so magical✨🪄. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
gorgeous pictures , love all of them !
Thank you

Thank you
Just beautiful

I would love if you would do an updated video on distress ink.. colors, tools, techniques. I feel like you are the queen at that medium. I would love to use more of it but it's been a real struggle to find anyone else that has tutorials actually coloring with it.. most of it is stampers and card makers which isn't quite the same thing.
Could you let me know what it is you would like to know in particular? or what you are having struggles with?
@@ZucchiniKitty Color choices/layering/mixing, getting into smaller areas, getting it to lay down smoothly. I've seen some of your old videos and it's like magic lol. I'm like "how did she do that?". One example that comes to mind was a Mouseguard page. I've done some backgrounds with blending brushes, and figured out blotting is key, but I'd love to use it more for actual coloring..
Beautiful pages 💗💜💗
Thanks so much!
Your colouring is always so beautiful 😍
Thank you
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING PAGES HUN! May I ask where or can you provide a link for that stencil you used on the bug/fly page…the one that looks like cracks in the wall. Love that page so much❤
The one I have is no longer sold but here is a similar one: a.co/d/iAqW6QV
@@ZucchiniKitty Ty very much
Karen, I love using distress ink and chalk pastels but I feel that my backgrounds always ruin my pictures. If I do a chalk or ink background first and spray fix it will I be able to use my Prismas or Luminance pencils over them? Will Stickles show ? 😊
yes you can use the pencils over the fixative, Stickles can be applied on top of it all
Hello Karen your pages are so beautiful!!! When you work with wet media, don’t your pages buckle?? How to deal with that?? I do mixed media, but I have several coloring books like the Maria tolle one & I used derwent inktense which I am not crazy about & I used very little water & my page is warped not a crazy amount, but I don’t like that ….but I like using some wet media.
Thank you, I use blender pens more than water... if I used water I try to do it very sparingly. Wrinkly pages don't bother me to much, I like the sound they make, Happy either way... 😊
I love watching your videos! You do such beautiful work! Could you tell me what paper you use for pdf’s or just printing out pictures for personal use? Thanks in advance 😊
Thank you so much! I just use a cheap thicker copy paper, something in the line of 80 to 90 lb white copy paper...
@@ZucchiniKitty thanks, I’ve been using coloring books for so long, what ppl call good paper about wears me out 🤭 I just now bought a copier and I have a few pdfs and I wanted some paper like Hanna Karlzon books have. Have a great weekend!
@@deborahmcneill9478 Strathmore Mixed Media paper is close but more pricey, it comes in 9x12 sheets so you would have to cut them down to fit in your printer, a.co/d/9BeLL0o
@@ZucchiniKitty thanks, I thought about getting some Neenah vellum bristol, it’s about 67 lbs, someone suggested that. I guess I’ll try different ones until I find one I like. I appreciate you and love to watch your videos, keep making them!
Where can a person buy single Holbein colored pencils?
I purchase my soft white 501 on Amazon; www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TD0OHNO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have a question about the holbein soft white pencils. I am buying these pencils as singles because I can't afford the whole set. The pencils on the online art stores show a dipped end but when I receive them the ends are not dipped and the pencil itself sharpens like a pastel pencil. I've tried several online art stores with the same results. Has anyone else run into this issue?
soft white pencil 501 is a soft lead with no paint on the end of the pencil. It is supposed to be sharpened with a knife because of its soft creamy lead... I use my Afmat electric sharpener to get a point... Holbein also has a white pencil 500 that is dipped on the end and is the same lead as the other holbeins. I use the 501 because of its creamy soft lead and coverage on the pages. Hope that helps
