Thank you! The journal bookshelf is an old reading journal concept I use to do when I kept up a reading journal - I thought it would be a good effective way to visually see my progress on working in new books. It's very satisfying when I get to colour in a new book!

There is something off about that paper in CH Flower Girls. I also had a problem with that issue. This was back when I first got this edition. I remember doing an Anastasia page and the paper literally tore from me layering Polys. I am not quite heavy handed either. I use Polys as my main pencil so that would tell you I am not especially heavy handed because Polys don't work well being heavy handed. So her hair was ruined after I spent a substantial period doing it. I also remember trying to do a Mayumi page and the paper texture was terrible and her skin looked weird with just a few pencil layers. I ended up ditching that page as well. I contacted CH about this issue and they sent me another copy, but that issue was the same, no different. The paper in that edition was one of the worst in my opinion. I have been a subscriber of this magazine for over 5 years and never had such an issue as I did with that copy. Now I haven't colored in all of them either yet, so there may be others. I will say that from month to month I have noticed the paper is either fine or has roller marks on it from the printing process is my guess?. It has happened more and more lately. Not sure what is going on. I know people in the Colouring Heaven FB group have complained at times about the paper quality lately. I would have never been able to color in a moving car, not even a little bit. The fact that you were able to stay in lines is amazing. Mine would have looked like a 3 year old colored it. LOL Your pages are gorgeous! Especially like your Mythographic pages. Wow! Really stunning! Thank you for sharing!
Yeah its a shame about the paper, because I still love so many images. I can work with the paper most of the time, but it does present its challenges. I'm sure I can do something to fix up the image....when I get spoons to tackle it haha. Thank you for watching!

I forgot to mention I’m ok from the cyclone 🌀 that hit Townsville Qld were I live we had no power for a few days lost our fence a few frangipanis it was a scary night.. having no power on Australia Day was horrible too..
