The best thing about studying different kung fu styles (and sometimes different martial arts from different countries) is that your mind will automatically work to fill the gaps in your current knowledge. For example: someone who trains in Bajiquan will naturally feel its limitations and when seeing a demonstration of Piquazhang they'll feel drawn to it, feeling how it's going to open new, great possibilities to their understanding and mastery of their style. This works with a lot of different styles, mostly because a style is nothing more than the development of a concept. Tanglangquan is about capture and control, Baguazhang is about evasiveness, Zuiquan is about deception, and so on. And yet, these are just the beginner's level understanding of each concept. There is a lot more to be discovered when you actually *mix* martial arts with concepts, not moves, that aid your primary concept of your fighting style. This is something I wish I knew right away, but senseis and sifus don't say this, and maybe a lot of the time they just don't know. Would love to have her as Sifu to bring her amazing skills and fresh kung fu to Europa and the US. Cool Lady my honest respect would be awesome to come in touch with her.
This is real Kung Fu. She is fast. Much better than most Wing Chun Sifu. Baa gua palm style has some very practical footwork that I learned from another youtube channel. Basically, you circle around your opponent's blind side and keep attacking and pressuring the blind side. If your opponent has a front-rear stance, your opponent ends up not being able to hit you. It is very useful fighting against boxers or Muay Thai.
You can see that she has been training every day for most of her life. So much body tonus and control! Like a prima ballerina. Which western Sifu could spend so much time on training? Also, Wing Chun students often forget to do enough leg training. But a powerful stance requires strong legs and a strong body. You seem to fight with your arms, but it is actually the whole body that makes the moves.
@@guidopahlberg9413 Wing Chun does have footwork which now only has forms, but no real applications in real fights. It is called Chaam Kiu. The problem with Wing Chun is, the guy who spread Wing Chung to Gwangdong was from Hubei. He was a fighting actor in a traditional Peking Opera group. To him, footwork is like a daily routine. Peking Opera fighting actors run around in stage doing somersaults like gymnasts. Modern Wing Chung Sifus are really part-timers who only know Wing Chung forms, but not real applications. They have very sluggish footwork. I saw a younger Wing Chun Sifu who played badminton occasionally. His footwork sucks. LOL If you want to have good footwork, you need to play badminton or fencing or dancing.

It seems reasonable that martial arts borrowed from each other down the generations. No from existed in isolation. This lady is a fantastic martial artist, and excellent teacher, and a top athlete too. She would be a tough opponent for a man twice her size even if he was well trained in fighting.

Thank you!.
In June I am retired and I have a plenty of time for Wushu
Thanks again.
Greetings from Germany..
This is some of the highest level Martin arts I have ever witnessed. I see elements of Bruce Lee, Floyd Mayweather, Gracie, Ueshiba Sensei, and muy Thai. I will strive to incorporate the foot and hands to shorenji kempo. There cannot be any conflicts at the highest level.
xD
A very effective and under rated martial art Baguazhang. I would definitely like to learn this style if I got the chance to.
I've heard that ueshiba was in Beijing unable to observe Bagua and then created aikido many similar concepts with the circle very interesting fantastic performer
If you pay attention closely, Japanese Aikido's grabbing and throwing technique is very similar to Chinese Bagua. It's all about redirecting your opponent's momentum.
Same principle, but different realisation. For example, very basic to aiki circular evasion tenkan is absolutely alien to baguazhang
Totally in awe! Love to watch a natural work their art!!🇺🇸
This is very impressive! Thank You!
Baguazhang is such an awesome art. She is just so elegant.
