Hi Olga,I love your art and specially the galaxy pour. I have been trying this technique for the last ten days but have failed, can you advise please. When I start the cells come out on the first pick but on the next pour of the colour it get muddin the center.
I LOVE this. I have my Lazy Susan. Just need a new 20” x 20” canvas (used my last one a week ago. That I’ll need to downstairs with the drop sheet on the floor to protect the hardwood. Not enough room in the dining room where most of my paint supplies are. 😁
For a little while...I didn't want you too spin it...just let it flow out. It turned out awesome. What do you use for sparkly stars? Take a look at the Orion nebula....I bet you could make it like that. Your very patient. Could I send you a picture of a project I'm thinking of for your thoughts?

G'day Olga, OMG!!! Where do you start with this canvas? I loved the initial forming of the rings, but the one bubble of black at the very end as you lifted the open cup was absolutely inspiring! The little hand waving hello at the beginning of the universe really got the mind racing, but the end product??? One of the most brilliant chameleon eyes I have EVER seen! You could not have done it any better if you had wanted to!!! Kudos on the canvas, Olga! Kudos indeed!!!❤️🌹❤️
is the reason not to use other blacks than mars black for this technique because some of the other blacks have more of a tendency to muddy into grey colors when mixed

Hi Olga, I love your art ! Love the Galaxy and the Funnel and everything else ! I decided to start doing pouring and I got lots of materials! I have a small question, it’s Floetrol, Glue, Pouring medium, Pearl white mixture use for the same purpose, to help flow the colours and give some cells ? Thanks in advance ! 😊

Do you have a video of the mixing? I have searched many I can’t work out the consistency I know you’ve said 70% flow troll 30% paint and water added but I just can’t get an idea of how thin the paint Is
Olga I need an advice XD every time I try this technique with your recipe, I think I have the wrong consistency. It stays very thick and the colours struggle to come to the surface, and when they do they tend to overmix. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG PLEEEASE? X(
First of all, all the paint should be pretty fluid for this pour. Black can be a little more fluid compared to the rest of the colors. Plus not all blacks are the same. Mars Black is a very dense (heavy) color, so it sinks in other color better then other blacks. Hope this helps!

It isn't first time that in open cup technique after red black was put.After removing cup nobody can see red color. BLACK SIMPLY "SWALLOWS" any color bellow, not only red. I check many pictures and everywhere was the same. I used VAN DYKE BROWN INSTEAD BLACK the situation was better. Where is the secret?
Hello Olga, I hope you aren't considering getting rid of your "Hey guys" intro, I think it makes your videos stand out from channels with similar content because it adds a lot of character to them, it's a lot nicer to see the face of an artist before they make a video instead of only some hands doing the artwork with music put over it.

Hi Alessandra! I used pre-primed regular stretched cotton canvas, I think canvases for oil paintings should work just fine

They all can be used for pouring, but create different effects

I'm mixing a bit different consistency depending on the technique I'm planning to work with. But such video is a future project for me
What paint do you use please is it water or oil

Ah and the black should have a different consistency compared to the other colours? It's so hard to spot when you do it from the bottle XD
