Completely Agree with this Essay about Sedna. I can't even recommend it for Fear Effect fans. I had not a single minute of fun playing it and didnt even finished it. Rains dead was the last part i played and it was obvious that she would just be revived, but i couldn't bare to waste any more time on this gAmE. Its so forgetful and pointless that the only thing i can remember are some horrible mini games and junk gameplay that looks and feels shitty. The only good about Sedna are a few good wallpapers and some of the 3d models, but I could have done without the rest. I enjoyed the first 2 games a lot. Still hope for a proper revival, or at least the 2 originals on Steam, with achievements and cards... but it doesn't look good for the franchise.
Yeah again I had to buy a new PC to get gameplay footage and a new capture device lol I would say that you stopped before it gets fun..... But those brief moments in the other hell last like 20 minutes tops so I really can't be liked yeah play for 2 hours to get 20 minutes of goodness. With Reinvented not dead who knows maybe Square actually released it on modern consoles. Anyway glad you enjoyed the video!
@@Kamen_Gaming Yo thanks for the videos! I enjoyed the other Fear Effect Essays also! Despite being an underwhelming game, Sedna at least hasnt tainted the franchise for me. So it could have been worse.
@@bellonasservant4496 Hey i'm really glad you do i'm trying to get better at this so I really enjoy it when someone says I did something they enjoyed Justice. What helps Sedna is that it's a Side Story, NOW if it was Inferno and this jacked up...oh boy lol
@@Kamen_Gaming What helps in my opinion is that it's pretty inoffensive (outside the horrendous gameplay). It doesn't break what was already established and is "mostly" faithful to characters and lore. Sedna is like a filler Episode. When its over nothing has changed and no one mentions it ever again. After reflecting on it, its like 1 hour i missed. So i will try to finish it.
@@bellonasservant4496 Yeah as you said it's like a filler episode of your favorite anime. In the long run it doesn't really matter and like every filler all the new characters (Axel) Will never play an important part ever again lol
A small tip The video is pretty long and has two distinctive topics. People like me have no problem with that, but for the youtube gods and the videos visibility, its better to post two videos instead of one extremely long. Especially with older topics, if people arent actively searching for these essays, no one will find them. Its a shame though, seemingly a lot of effort and research went into this. You can also post these vids on reddit. There are a lot of r/communities where you get much better visibility for your content. Might be worth to try.
From talking with creators many say longer videos tend to be better cause teh Algorithm tends to favor longer videos, it's why you sometimes see 5+ hour videos (I will never do a 5 plus hour video lol) I was originally doing one that was Just Inferno, followed by the future of the series and cutting it in two, but decided for just the one, in the futre if this comes up again I might opt to split it. I am planning on my short form videos in between the longer ones, thinking of calling it Imperfect Gems essentially videogames that aren't perfect some may label as bad, but I still like things like Blood Will Tell, it's the definition of MID, but there's so much I like about it lol So just 10 - 15 minutes of the good parts of games that are again either meh or bad that I or others like. I might post on reddit I do have an account, your or anyone reading this is also free to post my vids, again thanks for the support and the constructive critcism, I wanted to reply sooner but full time job along with this hobby lol
@@Kamen_Gaming Hmm i heard the contrary, multiple times! from very big youtubers like Game Theory and so. They especially made a video about it. Unless something changed since than, short videos should still have better visibility. Good luck for your next projects. I also like a lot of forgotten games. So even if not many people seek out content about those, its always a little gem to find vids that give them attention. Especially if they are well made and thought through.
@@bellonasservant4496 Honestly NO one knows how the Algo does things, it changes on the whim of the Algorithm lol I am considering splitting my next project cause I promised a SIlent hill II video, so was thinking of splitting the review with the second part about the remake and even iF the remake is good it's going to be so fundamentally differnt it's a shame that there's no Viable way to play SH II on modern systems. But yeah I enjoyed doing it, if you have any games you think need a light shone one legit just say it and i'll try it out to see if it's enough to do a video on lol
@@Kamen_Gaming Sorry for the late reply, i dont check my TH-cam inbox very often. Regarding "forgotten", or "under the Radar" games i was actually pretty lucky in recent times. Bloodrayne was like my number one forgotten franchise, but with the devs just re releasing the 3 games, there was actually multiple vids talking about it. "Iconoclast" on the other hand is still a game no one ever mentions, despite being an extremely unique, master piece of story telling. It has such rich lore that puts AAA games into shame, in a genre that normally has nothing more than 2 lines of dialogue. Its one of those heavy games that really lets you question life and society at some points. If this game would be a AAA production everyone would talk about it, but because it was a 1 dude indie game barely anyone ever noticed. "River City Girls/ River City Ransom" franchise is also a good pick. River City Girls 2 just released few days ago and no one is talking about it. Its an amazing Beat em Up a la "Streets of Rage", but its actually open world, with RPG elements and a big emphasis on story and characters. Its a perfect sequel that made everything better. A pure work of passion and that clearly shows to everyone who gives it a chance. "Battle Chef Brigade" is also a never ever mentioned game. It has a beautiful story in a fantasy anime setting, with tons of charming characters, where the hook is that you fight in dangerous cooking competitions were you have to cook and hunt for your ingredients at the same time. It also has one of the best couch multiplayer modes ever. Those are all games wich are extremely well made, with original Gameplay, unique worlds, stories, characters, stellar reviews and ratings, but somehow, barely anyone had noticed. If you are in need of epic experiences try them out! the devs also deserve every penny they earn, just for their creativity alone.
@@bellonasservant4496 Hey it happens plus it's the holidays and all that. Was thinking first Blood Will Tell because it's not a great game, but it's a great concept 50 or so demons take a boys organs and limbs, he's found by an inventor who basically makes him a new body as he tracks down the demons to reclaim what was taken. It's not stellar, but again a killer concept that with Polish I think would be great. I ahven't heard of Iconoclast but I'll for sure check it out!
