Hi Tasneem, I'm sooo thankful for this practice video. I'm so glad I bumped into your page. I just have a question, as a starter-upper, do I register as a provisional taxpayer now or once I start seeing patients?

Hi there. Glad you found it helpful. Only once you start earning revenue, you will then have to do a provisional tax return at one of the provisional tax due dates depending on which cycle your revenue falls in. It is worthwhile investing in a tax consultant in your personal capacity to guide you on all things tax especially when starting a business

Hey, I have a quick question, if we do not have 3 or more employees, but reg as an Inc, are we classified as a personal service provider and excluded from benefits of being a small business?

That is a great question! I am going to find out from the experts and get back to you.
